Appliance Genie Has no understanding on how to service subzero appliances. We had an issue with our subzero refrigerator. When the technician came, he opened the door of the appliance, listened to us describe what the problem was, closed the door, went to his vehicle and called the office. After spending few min talking to someone on the phone, he then came back with a diagnosis that it was our compressor that broke. The next day we got a quote from them (not a detailed quote at first, we had to request a proper detailed quote) We called another company that specializes in subzero appliances to get a second opinion. The technician came and after inspection said it was the sensors and not the compressor at all. He was able to fix it right on the spot. I have made multiple calls and sent multiple emails to Appliance Genie to dispute the fee that was charged for the diagnostic service call and no one has called or emailed me back. This was a terrible service and expensive ($169.00) diagnostic service call that was completely misdiagnosed. I am glad we called that other company. If we would have trusted Appliance Genie and payed them $2500 for their service to change the compressor, we would still have a non working refrigerator. Not sure how they service other appliances, but for SubZero appliances this is not the company. Also a company that doesnt stand behind their work and customer service is NOT a company that I would trust in my home.
