We purchased five high-end stainless steel appliances from Tasco for our kitchen renovation. We also purchased an extended warranty program on all five appliances. We have just attempted to place our first service call with TASCO for a repair to our dishwasher. It took the company two days to return our call to set an appointment for service. We were then offered an appointment tommorow - technician to arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or the following day - technician to arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m My husband or I will have to take an entire day off work to have our dishwasher serviced? R U serious? Completely unreasonable. If we want to continue washing our dishes by hand until mid next week, they can offer us an appointment time with a four-hour window instead of eight hours. Our last set of appliances were purchased at a competitor and extended warranty was fabulous. When required, appointments were scheduled with a private sub-contractor who returned our calls promptly to set exact appointment times. Extra warranty under TASCO's conditions not worth the money for us. Wish we had know this in advance - would not have purchased our appliances from them. Do your research before committing.

Although you may find that the turn around time is unacceptable this is actually standard practice, it can take 24-48 hours for an authorized service center to contact you to arrange. In terms of the 8 hour window, this is how some service centers work unfortunately Tasco has no control over that. If you do need assistance at expediting parts to complete service, please do give our customer service department a call at 416 642 5600.
