Most of the reviews here are about TV mounting, but Audio Amigos really excels in many other areas. In fact, I originally had Anthony and Mike come in to hang some TVs. They did a terrific job - fast, neat and thorough (it is definitely worth having a pro hang your flat screen TVs). When they were in I discovered that they also do wiring, so I had them come back to install a security camera system. Anthony and Mike were very pragmatic in their approach, figuring out the best and most efficient way to bring the wires in from outside, with minimal disruption. The are great problem solvers - very creative and also very strong technically. They were proactive in making suggestions on things they could do to improve the functionality of the system (things I would have never even considered). The job required them to climb up to the roof and to work in the attic - nothing fazed them. They also set up the cameras and software. I was delighted with the final result. I am going to have them come back in to upgrade and optimize my network. It is a pleasure dealing with a small company that takes pride in what it does and gives such a thoughtful level of personal service.

I cannot say enough good things about Avenue Insulation. I was very lucky to find them. I needed insulation for a wall in my basement that had to be ripped out to the studs due to a waterproofing/mold issue. I decided to go with spray foam due to the superior insulation qualities and its stability (my basement had always been very cold). Andy came out to evaluate the situation and quote on the job. He is a gem - very honest, professional, thorough and patient. He answered all my questions (and I had many!) both that day and later via email and the phone. Laara in the office was a pleasure to deal with. Stefan did the installation, and both he and his assistant were terrific. They really took their time to figure out how to do the best possible job and paid attention to every detail. My basement was left clean and neat. I was thrilled with result and wish I could do this for my whole house! Despite the fact that my job was a small one, Avenue Insulation made me feel that this job was as important as any other job. I have worked with a lot of trades over the past two years, and Avenue Insulation has been one of the best.

Khody was terrific. I needed to re-install laminate flooring in a section of my basement that had a flood. Khody's quote was reasonable and he was able to complete the work quickly. I was impressed with how professional and honest he was and also with the quality of his work and attention to detail. He even fixed some other areas of my basement laminate where the previous installer had done a poor job. I will definitely use HLE Flooring again.

In the course of some other work on my house we discovered some serious problems with the roof (which had been replaced just two years prior). I needed a roof inspector to come out quickly and give me a thorough and unbiased evaluation of the roof work that had been done. I was lucky to find Dave who came out on very short notice and prepared a detailed report with specific recommendations. Not only did Dave analyze the potential sources of my roof problem, he also identified a number of other issues with the recent roof installation. He patiently answered all my questions and advised me on what I needed to do to correct the problems. Roof work is expensive and something most of us do maybe once or twice in our lifetimes, so the average person does not know a lot about the technicalities of roofing. We also don't climb on our roofs, so we do not know if the roofer did a good job. It is definitely worthwhile to have an independent adviser like Dave to help you evaluate roofing quotes and assess quality of work.
