We purchased 8 new appliances for our kitchen, which started by buying 2 Sub-Zero fridges that were on sale, and last year's model. From there our very knowledgeable salesperson did their best to push us into every single high-end applicance brand, even though we explained that that wasn't our need. While the delivery, service and follow up was very good, the bottom line is that it feels like the salespeople only want to sell you the most expensive items, and then try to make you feel bad when you choose a brand that they think isn't uber-elite. At the end of the day we stood our grond and chose the brands we want, but not without resistance.

Altima is a terrific kitchen company. I've recommended them a few times and we've used them 2x for kitchen renovations. I would not hesitate to use them again (if the price is right). Unfortunately it seems their popularity has driven their prices up over the past 7 or 8 years, but they are professional and provide good installation and service. Val brings a lot of great design ideas and options.
