If you want quality work that's done by good and honest people that go above and beyond, then I highly recommend EcoComfort. (Note: The job was done on February 6, 2018) Based on all the reviews, I decided to go with this company so I called and left a message and I also sent them an email, and I got a response the next morning. I told Wojtek (pronounced Voitek) that we were getting frost build up on the roof sheathing due to condensation because we didn't have enough insulation in our attic, we only had one layer of faced batt insulation and old loose insulation on top of it which was flush to the top of the joists. Wojtek was able to come and give me a quote within 2 days, he was straight forward about what needed to be done and why. He didn't try to use any scare tactics to upsell me on any unnecessary extras. He actually tried to save me money by offering to just blow in more insulation on top of what was already there, but I wanted to make sure that the attic got thoroughly sealed up so no heat escapes up there. He even told me to turn down my humidifier like he does in the winter. Wojtek was always there to answer any questions that I had, and if I left a message he would call me back promptly. He was always easy to talk to and very informative regardless of how big or small the question was. Now on the day of the job, Tom and Bart were there to take care of everything. They are some very genuine, polite, proficient, and hard-working guys. They made sure that they did a clean job by putting down tarps wherever the tubes were going to be placed, they even had two different pairs of boots to wear inside and outside, and they made sure that the door was always closed behind them so the cold wouldn't get in. Once they finished removing the old insulation, they let me know so I could go up and inspect the attic. After that, they proceeded with installing and extending the baffles, spraying the disinfectant and mold stain remover, air sealing any penetrations, blowing in new R60+ cellulose insulation, and replacing a new attic hatch cover with insulation and weatherstripping. On top of all the work that they had to do, they still took the time to help me turn the bathroom fan around and install a new insulated duct for it because the quality of the existing duct wasn't that good – and it was done free of charge. After the job was completed, they made sure that every and anything was left clean. Tom and Bart are very diligent professionals that take pride in their work, and they always responded to any questions that I had in a pleasant and polite manner. I've been up in the attic a few times so I know how hard and frustrating it is to do any type of work in such an enclosed area. The following day Claudia sent me the invoice and asked if I had any questions, she even sent me some before and after pictures that I requested. The whole experience with EcoComfort was a very good one, any of the rooms that were cold are now well heated and we don't have a bunch of condensation on our windows either. The hard-earned money that we paid for EcoComfort's services was well worth it. The company also filled out the paperwork on our behalf for a $700 rebate which we should be getting in a few months.

Unfortunately the duct cleaning company that I used before was fully booked so I gave Dave's Duct Cleaning a call and luckily they had an early opening. The first person I talked to was Stanley who was very friendly and helpful as he went over some details, took down my information, and booked the appointment. I received an email ahead of time reminding me about the appointment along with a small checklist for me to go through as I prepared my house so it could be serviced properly. The technicians Mark and Kevin were very courteous, clean and amiable. They answered any questions that I had with thorough knowledge and expertise. They took some pictures inside the ducts and showed them to me, there was a little pipe that was wedged in the air return but I told them not to kill themselves trying to get it out since it was kind of in an awkward position and its been there all these years. Next thing I know, they actually got it out and showed it to me. While they were cleaning up, I asked if we could check out one of the ducts to make sure the damper was in the open position and Mark had no problem with getting the inspection camera to check things out. I highly recommend Dave's Duct Cleaning services if you want great customer service and a staff of fully trained and certified technicians that are more than willing to go out of their way to make sure that you're satisfied with their services and genuine etiquette.

I had a 30 square foot ceiling in my bathroom and the insulation on top of it that I needed removed in a safe manner because I wasn't sure if the plaster had any asbestos in it. After being told that the job was too small or being quoted some ridiculous prices for such a small job from a few companies, I gave Giardi Inc. a call. Carlos was easy to talk to and very empathetic about my situation, he gave me a very reasonable quote and was able to schedule the job within two days. Galo the co-owner, and Karol the remediation specialist came out to do the job. They sealed off the work area, hooked up the negative air machine, got to work and were done within 2 hours. They wet wiped and sprayed everything, then put all of the debris into asbestos disposal waste bags and very carefully took them out, then they did a final cleaning with a special HEPA vacuum. I love to see professionals at work, and not only does Giardi Inc. provide a professional service and results, they are punctual, courteous, clean, thorough and knowledgeable experts. I highly recommend Giardi Inc., and I would definitely use their services in the future.

My shut-off valve for the garden hose had suddenly seized up so I wanted to make sure that it got replaced before it starts getting cold. The ladies (sorry, I forgot your names) that I spoke with were pleasant and easy going. I was quoted a couple of prices which I found reasonable, and when the technician was a little behind schedule they called me to let me know. Patrick (the plumbing technician) was very courteous and knowledgeable. The shut-off valve was in a pretty tight and awkward spot which would scare off most technicians, but that didn't bother him one bit. He went through a couple of options with me, fixed the problem with ease, and he triple checked to make sure that there were no leaks. That proves that Patrick is an experienced and thorough plumbing technician who does his job right and takes pride in his work. I would recommend AnTa Plumbing Inc to anyone that wants great customer service and professional quality work done. The work also has a one year warranty.

Steve and Ryan just finished cleaning and disinfecting the air ducts in my home about ten minutes ago. They're very knowledgeable about their services, equipment, and the products that they use.
