Home inspector found the suspected mold affection in the attic. Called CRS and Dunn arrived in time for the free estimate. He explained the detail to me professionally and offered a fair discount to satisfy my budget. The team arrived in time and completed the jobs as scheduled. The jobs they did is very professional. They sealed the room which access to the attic with door container to provent the spraid of mold. They also brought a vacum machine which could filter the mold in the room and let it run for couple of days. After the project is done, they cleaned up everything and soaped the working area again. Dunn and his team did a great job, I am very satisfied with the jobs they delivered.

Insta-Insulation is recommended for the insulation removal and installation (upgrade to R-50). The team arrived in time and completed the jobs very quickly. The insulation installation is good. They blown the insulation made of recycled news paper. Which is supposed to be better than the fiber glass. However, I am not satisfied with the insulation removal and the handyman works: 1. The insulation was not removed completely. I was told that it is normal if only some small pieces left on the floor. However, I do not think we are expected to leave those in the attic as the losing insulation could host mold blasted off from the roof board. 2. The floor in the attic is not clean. There are powders blasted off from roof board left on the floor here and there and they just blown the insulation without removing (vacuuming) it. Those should be cleaned up before blowing new insulation. 3. The roof jack the handyman installed for the washroom exhaust pipe is on a wrong position. As the result, the pipe could not run right up. The fix they did is just turning around the pipe on the bottom and make it straight up to the roof. When I pointed those issues and asked them correcting it, they tried to find excuse instead of offering the help. They tried to convince me with "you will have 10 yr warranty when the project is completed". But warranty is not coming from a promise, it is coming from the jobs the team did. If they could not do their jobs right in the first place, how could I rely on their oral promise? I would not recommend this company based on the jobs they did.

Called Gordon when the insulation guy found the roof leaking. Joe arrived in time and got the leaking area fixed in one hour. The fix is professional and I got the life time guarantee. Couple of days later, when the insulation guy resumed the work in a heavy rain, they reported more leaking area around plumbing pipe. Called Gordon again and he came on site during the long weekend. Gordon spent around one hour on the roof, checked the roof carefully and fixed all the defective area on the roof, which could lead to potential leaking. As I expected, those are cost free as it is the warranty they promised. Over all, I am very satisfied with the service Gordon and his team provided. We might be able to find cheap quote by shopping arround, but choose Gordon's team, we will get what we paid for.
