My Amana central air conditioner stopped working recently in the middle of a heat wave and on a Friday afternoon. I called the company that sold me the unit and was told they couldn't get a technician out until the following Thursday (6 days - ridiculous). I started calling around with varying degrees of success and eventually connected with John Melich - Service Manager at JCJ Mechanical. John was very helpful and walked me through a checklist of potential problems that I'd be able to fix myself, but we determined a service call was required. Even though it was now late on the Friday afternoon, John was able to dispatch a technician who arrived within two hours. The technician quickly identified the problem and applied a temporary fix to keep the unit running while parts were ordered. From beginning to end, the communication between myself, John and the technician was excellent and I never found myself wondering about next steps. The repairs were completed a week ago and the unit has worked flawlessly ever since. I'm very happy with the service that I received from JCJ and will now use them for all my heating and cooling maintenance.
