GVC in Toronto

We have used Classic Fireplace several times over the last 20 years. We have bought a couple of BBQs and also had three gas fireplaces installed - the latest was done last week. Over the years, I have recommended them to several friends, who have also been very pleased. Josh Malcolm and his staff are pleasant and easy to deal with. Before our latest order was confirmed or a deposit paid, Josh came to inspect where we wanted to install the new fireplace and checked for size, ventilation, safety etc. We then confirmed our order, paid a deposit and everything went quickly, smoothly and exactly to plan. The installers arrived on time, worked quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. They were pleasant and easy to deal with and before they left, they carefully explained how to use our new fireplace. I would highly recommend Classic Fireplace.

It has been a long time since we have been this pleased with any company! We called about getting our attic insulation improved to R60 and we were impressed by Zdenek's courtesy, knowledge and professionalism. So, we set up a time and date for the work to be done. Zdenek, his son George, and daughter, Denise arrived exactly on time and set to work immediately, putting clean drop-sheets up the stairs and into the room with the attic access. The furniture in the room was carefully covered with plastic drop-sheets. When they had finished, they invited us to look at the new blown-in insulation which is smooth, even and obviously done with care. They vacuumed so carefully that we seriously wouldn't have known that work had been done. They were pleasant, knowledgeable and very good to deal with. Dishwasher kept going and going and going ...for hours! I called High Tech who arrived on time, did a clean job, was very pleasant to deal with and so far, the problem seems to have been fixed. Would recommend you give him a call or send an email.

I emailed Dan who called me promptly and we arranged for him to come to look at the cupboards where we wanted the 14 drawers ubstalled. He arrived punctually, gave us some good advice and we decided to go ahead . He had fourteen drawers ready and installed within a week. Again arrived puncually, did a great job. He was pleasant, clean, neat, tidy and quick in his work. Did a great job and I'd highly recommend him.

A TOTAL DISASTER. They were sent by the warranty company to repair a fault on our fridge, which wasn't cooling. They created an estimated $1,200 damage to my kitchen when the fridge toppled over, smashing contents and damaging floor tile and fridge door panels. That estimate didn't include the cost of the ruined food that had to be shovelled off the floor and garbaged, along with the broken glass bottles, water, soy sauce etc. What a mess - took hours to clean it up. Fortunately nobody was seriously hurt but we had to fight with company owner Ian for several months and finally, but only with the help of the warranty company, we got $500 towards repairs. However we never got an apology from 4MD. On top of that, after creating the damage, they had to return the next day, as despite their "repair", the fridge still wasn't cooling! Don't use them!
