Ross took care of several nagging household “fixes” that I finally decided to address (bathtub caulking; a sink stopper fix and a wobbly secondary toilet plus a small outside deck skirt repair ). He is a pleasure to have around and took care of my fix-it projects quickly, efficiently and professionally. I can’t believe that I put these repairs off for so long. Never again!

I placed an order online for a shower hose. Three weeks later, and several follow up phone calls later with no replies, I finally went out to get it and was told that the delay was their shipment from Montreal. As it turned out I had ordered the wrong size by mistake so called back to see if I could exchange it. I was promised a follow up call that never came so I bought one that fit elsewhere. When I called again a week later to ask to return it, I was told I couldn’t because it was a special order (on their website it was one of the items for sale, nothing special), I could only exchange it. I threw it out and know never to use this company again. Lesson learned.

I highly recommend Smith Metal Works for any of your wrought iron railing work. I had porch railings custom made for my home's new front porch and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again! The team completed the entire project on time and on budget and their final work has really enhanced the curb appeal of our home. I really appreciated the level of service and communication at each major step . The employees that came onsite (as well as those on the phone) were also very professional and courteous.
