I'm very dumbfounded by this company. We scheduled an initial appointment to start building a gate for our backyard. The owner (project manager) came to my house but left without speaking with me or even looking at the site where we wanted the gate to be installed. When I called the person responsible for booking the appointment to clarify why the project manager just left, she had no explanation and she just stated that he couldn't do the job. Very unprofessional and wasted my time waiting for this appointment. Very disappointed since the previous reviews were great but my experience with this company was awful

Smith Metalworks is very professional and Tarek visited in person to provide an exact quote, after submitting my job request through their online portal. I needed them to match an existing wrought iron railing for the other side of a staircase previously enclosed in a wall. They were very thorough, their online estimate and invoice system was super easy to use. They were punctual and the job was done faster than originally promised. Hands down the best Wrought Iron company in Toronto. I was surprised they could match my existing railing and they did perfectly. Thank you Tarek, and Merna who was amazing through all the admin, and the crew that came onsite for the install. An amazing experience to what I felt was an impossible job !

It's been two months since our beautiful wrought iron fence was installed in the backyard and I still can't get over how incredible it looks. It has transformed our backyard into something you would see in gardening magazines and I am beyond thrilled. The quality and craftsmanship is top rated. Tarek did an exceptional job. He was very attentive to my specifications and he made sure that he knew exactly what I wanted and boy...did he deliver! I highly recommend this company. Currently we have to resolve an issue with the city with respect to a one hundred year old tree in the backyard and once that is done, we intend to get Tarek and his men back as soon as we can to finish the rest of the backyard. I engaged Smith Metal Works for a custom wrought iron handrail to be designed and installed on new concrete front steps/landing area.

From beginning to end, this company was professional, efficient and excellent communicators. The work crew that came to do the removal of the old railings and install of the new ones were friendly, and respectful of the neighbors (we live on a very narrow street with street parking and so the going can be tight - but they handled it perfectly). The job went off smoothly from design to installation and I love the result. I would definitely recommend, and would hire them again.

Smith Metalworks provided a competitively-priced aluminum handrail for my front porch. The railing was produced and installed promptly.
