Based on reviews, I called Crazy Joe’s for an estimate on sheers as I knew the exact measurements I wanted. Joe quoted me the best price. I dropped by his store to select the sheers. The turn around time took only one week. When I brought them home, I misjudged the length. They were a few inches too short. I called Joe who said it wasn’t a problem for them to adjust the hem. I also noticed I didn’t have enough rings to hook the curtains onto. He didn’t have the exact rings but gave me some he thought might work, which they did. He didn’t charge me for them.. I only waited 1 week to have the hem adjusted. When I picked them up, he told me no charge!! Even when it was my fault for not giving them the exact measurement, 100% recommend Crazy Joe’s! Santina is the assistant and she is extremely friendly, efficient and reassuring. Bathtub faucet wouldn’t stop dripping which had started on a Saturday early evening. They couldn’t do anything until Monday. Sergei came at the specified time in the early afternoon on Monday but he couldn’t do anything without the right cartridge. I saved some money by going to pick up the cartridge myself and Sergei came back a few hours later to fix it before going to another job which I appreciated. Would call them again if I had any other plumbing issues.

When I contacted them for a quote Hisham came right away. I have an older garage with a manual door and wanted a new door and opener system installed. Because the garage is old, there were some complications and the job took longer than expected but Hisham communicated very well. I'm very happy with the job and the way it was handled. He gave me a reasonable price considering he had to do some extra work on the garage ceiling to fit the opener. Hisham is very professional and kind. I would recommend him to anyone.

Adriano had fixed my refrigerator a few years ago so I kept his number in case I needed it. Thankfully I did as my dishwasher was clogged. Called him on a Friday but he was too busy to come out so he called me back on Sunday as promised and came by the following day to fix it. Adriano is definitely reliable. Will recommend him and will not hesitate to call again if one of my appliances break down. Update since this last review above. I couldn't write a new review for my recent dryer fix as it's been less than 6 months since the last review. Called Adriano on Sunday and he came early afternoon on Tuesday to fix the dryer which needed a new thermostat. Same price as the dishwasher plus extra for the new thermostat. Great service! Khody and his crew replaced the flooring in the basement. They removed the very old and tired looking vinyl and carpet flooring replacing it with laminate. They also removed the old carpet from the stairs and painted them for me. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with the work they did. They cleaned up very well after the job as well. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good contractor.

I called ALBVision based on their excellent reviews. All the reviews I read are 100% accurate. The last week of November, I called the company and Tony was able to come over within a few days to provide a quote. Tony had said he could install the doors the 2nd or 3rd week of December if I decided within the next few days, but I never felt pressured from him at all. He was quite pleasant to deal with and patiently answered all my questions. I did call another company for a quote but they couldn't do anything until January so I decided to hire Tony and I'm glad I did. His prices are fair and reasonable and he and his partner did an excellent job. As promised, they were here at the start of the 3rd week of December and completed the installation in exactly 4 hours; the time Tony said it would take to complete. Thank you very much!

I purchased a home which had a bathtub but no shower head on the main floor and an old shower stall kit installed in the basement. My intention is to rent out the basement so I needed a proper shower installed upstairs with tiles or a wall going further up towards the ceiling as the tiles which were already there were in good shape but not high enough. I did some research on the internet and found bath solutions, I looked at their pictures and made an appointment with Tony from the Etobicoke location. Their cost for all materials included the labour. There were no hidden fees. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the work. I absolutely love my new walls and shower installed in the bathroom. Tony, and Larry who assisted him with the main bath upstairs, completed the job done in 1 day. Tony came back the following day to replace the shower stall in the basement. From the moment I met Tony to the day he finished the work, he was always professional, friendly and courteous. Because of my budget I wasn't able to have the entire upstairs bathroom renovated but I am definitely going to call Tony when I'm ready to do so. When I purchased an older bungalow in December 2011, the inspector said I needed an electrician to ground the main floor outlets. All the electrical outlets were already grounded in the basement. I also needed a few new outlets installed in the house. I asked a friend who recommended John at Empire. I was not disappointed. John showed up on time to give me a quote and I scheduled the appointment for the work to be done. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to extend the closing date of the home which meant I had to reschedule the work with Empire. They were very accommodating doing their best to fit my schedule. I finally moved in and they did their work John and Marc-Anthony were efficient, professional and friendly. I would not hesitate to use them again and give them my highest recommendation. You will not be disappointed.

I hired Zaid based on the Homestars Reviews and I was not disappointed. It is as most reviewers indicated, they showed up on time, friendly, professional and careful. They didn't waste any time. At the house, they had to remove the door to fit the sofa. When they placed the door back on the hinges, the door knob broke, which was clearly not their fault as anyone could have seen it was an old door knob. Zaid stayed back to try and fix it and I told him not to worry about it telling him I would take care of it. The fact that he was willing to stick around to try and fix it meant a lot.
