Affordable Woodworking refaced and rebuilt our kitchen 14 years ago, each cabinet was exactly measured for the doors or drawers and several new cabinets were added to make the kitchen more usable. We decided we needed another cabinet added to the end of a run of cabinets to hold all our spices and it was roughly 5' tall by 6 " wide so definitely custom. Richard was prompt, excellent communication in terms of price, materials, options. He measured from every single angle and because of that, we have a new emaculate cabinet that looks like it has been there for ever. He is and will always be the most professional tradesperson we have ever dealt with and we would highly recommend him for any custom woodworking job - you wont be disappointed. I went onto Homestars with the problem of a slight gas leak, as described by Enbridge. Naveed responded within 15 mins and was at the house within a couple of hours. He did the job very quickly, was very professional and we would recommend them.

We hired Mud Monkeys to do the waterproofing work for us as they had been recommended by a friend. We had a flood in a fast melt during March and so the wall needed to be sured up for the future. A crew of 3 young guys came to the house, dug out a trench about 3ft wide and 15ft long by hand, then they waterproofed the wall, re sealed everything, refilled and put in a window well. The mess was minimal considering the work that was done and the finish was professional.

My washing machine stopped in the middle of the cycle and wouldn't empty so didn't want to be left for days without a washing machine. I called Sam at the company and he was very helpful, asked a lot of info about the machine, came in two days and found that it was the lock on the lid that was faulty. He had the part with him and fitted it there and then, so I was very happy. He was polite and courteous and cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend him!

We inherited a very old fashioned kitchen with small cupboards and not enough of them so we decided rather than ripping out the old kitchen and starting again to do a cheaper alternative. It was after talking to Richard at Affordable Woodworking, that we realised we could have what we wanted. Richard came in with lots of samples for the doors and drawers and he measured each one meticulously, because he realised they would all be slightly different in size as they had been there such a long time. He also created more cupboard, shelves and housing for the appliances to match for the other side of the kitchen. He was very professional from the minute we met him to the completion of the kitchen. He arrived and brought in first of all, drop sheets and a vacuum cleaner so that was very impressive. He had made all the cabinets, drawers etc and brought them all labelled and wrapped with cellophane. He worked tirelessly for two days and was extrememly meticulous in his work. When he had finished we had a beautiful kitchen with matching doors, drawers etc and then we painted them to finish the job, and it now looks like a brand new kitchen. I would highly recommend him for any woodworking job in the house and not just a kitchen.
