We are more than satisfied with our brand new kitchen- we are thrilled! The end result is far better than what we had imagined. The quality of the workmanship is stellar. Mark steered us to suppliers who gave us just what we wanted. Every single member of the crew was personable, capable and very respectful of our home and our dogs. Mark was able to accommodate our request to do the gutting of the kitchen while we were away which gave us the best possible start to our project. The whole process took longer than we would have liked (just over 4 months) but now that it is finished the wait was worth it. We spent more than we had planned but this was mainly due to our own choices Mark has a calm demeanour and put us at our ease from the initial visit. This was crucial for us since we had never hired a contractor before. We had always done our own teardown and hired family members for carpentry, etc. In fact, this was the biggest hurdle we had to get over in order to proceed. It was easily done. We have complete faith in Mark, his brother Chris and the entire crew and recommend them without reservation. Thanks guys!

If you value honesty and a straightforward attitude then Elvis is your man. What started as a brown water stain on our living room ceiling 3 weeks ago turned into a black mold disaster in the closet of our bedroom once we discovered the extent of the problem. The first roofer we contacted was prepared to do a "bandaid" job for a lot of money but unable or unwilling to give us his estimate in writing. Since we were upfront with him we wanted the same in return. We looked further and found Homestars which led us to Elvis. He had excellent reviews but even better were the educational videos which he has made. When we phoned we got straight through to him (which we love!) and he accomodated our schedules to come a long way from the west end (we are in the Beaches) for his assesment. Well a "bandaid" would not have fixed the problem- he was very clear about it, matter-of-fact about what it would cost- and what it would cost us in the near future if we did not fix it now. Of course we hired him. Afterwards he came when he said he would, did what he said he would do and all for the price he originally gave us. Plus, he installed a new vent, a new downspout, cleaned our eavestroughs, cleaned the vines from our chimney and removed an unwanted aerial- all without additional cost!We can happily say that "what you see and hear is what you get" and that is rare these days. All was meticulously cleaned up. We would like to make special mention of Mrs. Benoit- a very valuable member of the crew-all of whom we did not meet.We are guaranteed not to leak for 15 years and we know it to be true. Come on down to the Beaches Mr. and Mrs. Benoit and children for some fun - if you ever get time off!
