My mother recently moved into a seniors home leaving me with all her furniture, knickknacks and outright junk she has been accumulating for the last 50 years. Called this company, received prompt and pleasant service and immediate date and time someone would be arriving. The truck showed up early with two outstanding, polite young men who didn't make a move without checking with me first, including walking me through the cost, how it was calculated and ensuring I was aware and in agreement with everything before I proceeded. They then, literally, ran everything out of the house. When they were done they did another walk through with me to ensure everything was collected and gone and I was satisfied. It took two full truck loads to empty out the house but it was worth every penny. And the young men were a pleasure to deal with: polite, understanding of our position and very hard working.

Washer broke down, called Sam Monday, part out-of-stock until Thursday, here I am Friday doing laundry! Fast, efficient, tidy and respectful of my home Sam was a pleasure to deal with. He advised in advance what the problem was (a broken pump, plugged up and useless), how much work was involved to fix it, what it would cost and when it would be completed. Sam didn't let me down.

On a damp September morning my husband tried to turn on the furnace to take the morning chill out of the house. Nothing! No heat, no puffing, no blowing, no nothing! I immediately phoned Direct Energy to get help. Still being late summer I understand that there wouldn't or shouldn't be a huge demand for furnace repair but imagine my surprise when the repairman showed up at my door within an hour of my phone call. Within two minutes he explained exactly what was wrong (taking his time with me as my husband wasn't around). Within twenty minutes he had the new parts installed, had the old parts boxed up for me to inspect (or in my case pass on to my husband) and was out the door...with the furnace purring quietly away in the background. Efficient and effective and totally professional.
