The challenge for our project was that we live in Rochester, NY and are in our small Toronto condo only on occasional weekends. We found the granite we wanted for the countertops at TorontoGranite.com and asked Mark to make arrangements to have the backsplash installed (old tile had to also be removed and drywall repaired), along with replacing the sink and faucet because we didn't know any contractors and aren't in TO that often. This truly was out of the scope of their company, but Mark kindly agreed to take on the project. He found the contractors and supervised all of their work and did a fabulous job! Keep in mind that the majority of our communication was via e-mail and photos (Mark e-mailed them as the project progressed)and the key to this successful project was the ongoing communication. I recently had a new kitchen installed by a Toronto company that imports Italian cupboards. For the countertops, I received quotes from granite suppliers recommended on this site as well as from two companies recommended by the kitchen suppliers. The quotes differed quite considerably for exactly the same pattern and quality of granite. Tempo Tech's quote was the lowest and, on the basis of the excellent recommendations on this site, I chose them to install the countertops. I am very pleased that I did. There was a delay in the installation of the cupboards with the result that I was left with no kitchen sink for several weeks right before Christmas. Mark came to my rescue and had the countertop measured, cut, and installed five days after the cabinets arrived. Moreover, because the cabinet company had to order an additional panel to complete the kitchen cabinets, there was a small section of the granite countertop that could not be measured and cut until this last panel arrived from Italy. Mark could not have been more accommodating: he made two more trips to my home to give me advice, to measure, and to install the granite. He also was able to fix a dishwasher installation problem for me (well above and beyond the contracted service!) The counter-tops look great and I am pleased to give Mark and Tempo Tech the highest possible recommendation.

We just finished having a new Ikea kitchen installed and choose Tempo Tech to do the granite counter top. This family business should be your first stop on your kitchen renovation ladder. We were going to have our cabinets refaced and once we visited Tempo Tech we were sold on a brand new kitchen as advised by Mark. Our quotes for kitchen cabinet refacing were in the $5000 range and our granite counter quotes were in the $3000 range. On Marks advice we managed to save big time using Ikea cabinets and plus the discount on the granite from Tempo we came under budget on our kitchen renovation and it looks amazing. Mark's team was on time, even though I actual had to cancel on them at the last minute, they were on budget and the quality of the granite is wonderful (we were only out of a kitchen for one week in total so it wasnt disrupting at all). If your renovating to sell or to live this should be your source for granite, hands down the best value in the area. Thanks guys!!

We recently replaced our laminate countertop in the kitchen with a granite one. After getting a number of quotes we decided to go with Tempotech because of their price, speed of quote and delivery time. From the time that we put down our deposit and selected our slab the counter was done in the same week. Mark worked with us to layout the cuts on the slab so that the large island piece had the most consistent look. There was a small measuring problem with one piece but it was fixed quickly and professionally. We would highly recommend them.

Recently I hired a company to install granite counters for a rental property I own. They left taking my, along with many other peoples, money. I then called Toronto Granite,explained what happened and why I needed the job done so quickly. They gave me an estimate on the same day, measured on the next day and installed my counter and island three days later. Everyone I dealt with at this company was professional, pleasent and very competent. It made a terrible situation so much better. The whole process from beginning to end was flawless. I faxed in rough measurements of my kitchen and master bathroom counters and within a day received an all-in quote for the granite and the installation. Within a week I went out to visit the showroom to select the style of granite that we wanted in each room - China Black in the kitchen & Santa Cecilia Light for the bathroom. While there, we decided to purchase all of the replacement undermount sinks (one kitchen and two bath) as the models on display were also very well priced as compared to the retailers we visited.

There was a slight problem during the installation resulting from the walls in my Victorian house not being perfectly straight. Bob came out that same night to remeasure the space and within a day and a half, the new piece had arrived and been installed.

The staff they send to the house pay close attention to every detail and we are very happy with the final result.

Tempo Tech beat out the next closest quote by almost $1500.00 and delivered great goods. Highly recommended.
