Mike was very friendly right from the get go. He was able to deliver same day service. He was thorough and checked all the areas of concern for us and took care of the wasps, hornets and the carpenter bees on the property. It was service so good I signed up for Homestars just to write a review!

I had GTA spray for carpenter ants. GTA answered the phone right away, arranged to come the next morning, phoned before arrival to confirm, came punctually, started immediately, worked quickly, and charged a reasonable amount. Troy was super-friendly and enthusiastic, talked about carpenter ants and other pests, and was really careful and respectful about the house. It's just nice to be able to hire people who are pleasant and professional.

Our mice problem exploded this past spring when we started noticing fresh droppings in the kitchen. Since I had dealt with "A Animal Removal", I called them first. They told me that they don't deal with mice, and that I should give Kevin from "GTA Wildlife" as he's really good at solving mice problems.

I did a quick search on Homestars and was very pleased to see the high number of ratings and high scores on his company.

I gave him a call, and he was very prompt at scheduling an appointment.

My girlfriend was home (I was not) when Kevin arrived on time (10am). We wanted to have him take a look around and outline how the mice were getting in and what could be done after the rodenticide was laid to prevent future infestation. His answers were not very informative. He was very brief in his descriptions and went straight to laying baits around the house. He was also not very receptive to my girlfriend wanting to show him all the places we observed mice droppings. He said that "he knew where to look". When my girlfriend pressed him for more answers, he said that "he was drunk from last night". We thought that this was very unprofessional. He also did not really give an answer as to why he chose the locations for the bait. This gives me the impression that he was placing the baits randomly instead of strategically.

It has been 1.5 weeks after his arrival, and we have not seen fresh droppings. While we acknowledge that GTA Wildlife seems to have done their job at controlling the mice problem, the professionalism was not up to par with the Homestar ratings. We felt that we could have been provided more information and background on the mice problem. He could also have been much more professional with his customer service, we were left with many questions and not enough answers.

Troy did a great job to remove 4 raccoons and 2 squirrels from our garage soffit area. A very professional and efficient experience. I would definately recommend him to others. Thanks Troy!

Troy met me at my home within 24 hours ogf my Sunday call.
He examined the access point where the raccoons were entering under the deck.
He gave me some constructive suggestions that might eliminate the problem - at no cost.
"Plan B" is available (obviously at a cost) if required.

Unfortunately, ants have been following us wherever we moved to. For some reason, this is the second house we bought in a row, where ants have infested our master bedroom. But luckily, Kevin from GTA Pestcontrol came over both times and eliminated the problems for us. He sprayed the inside, and told us to call him if we still see activity inside our house. Sure enough, after a month, there were lot of dead ants, but we still saw the odd ant. We called Kevin again, and he came back to us and resprayed the area. The second spray totally got rid of the ants. We're really happy with the results and I highly recommend this company to anyone.

We found Kevin/GTA Wildlife Removal and Pest Control on Homestars. We read the reviews and thought that this should be the company to call to deal with our Carpenter ant problem - and are we ever glad that we did. We called Kevin last week to help us get rid of a Carpenter ant problem, and mentioned that we would be re-siding the laundry room where we suspected the ants to be living. He sprayed all inside the house and outside of the house this past Saturday and said that when the siding contractors come, let him know and he could be on standby if we ended up finding a nest of ants - he has a warranty of up to one year - if we ever find them again, he will come back and re-spray free of charge.

Today we had our siding contractors come in, and lo and behold we definitely found the nest of carpenter ants living in our wall - there must have been several hundred of them + hundreds of eggs/larvae. I called Kevin right away (didn't even tell him in advance of when the siding contractors were coming) and he postponed a job and was back at our house in less than 10 minutes to re-spray the permethrin where the ants were, as well as the perimeter of the house again. Now, all I see are dead ants everywhere outside :) I think he definitely got the entire satellite colony today - which gives me a total sigh of relief. He reassured me that seeing all the ants today and finding the nest was in fact a good thing (although, i was panicking quite a bit at the time to see almost 1000 ants+eggs), because now that the nest has been destroyed and house/perimeter re-sprayed, they are most likely not coming back into our home. I also know that he would come back again if we see any more ants within the year.

Kevin, we couldn't thank you enough for coming by on such extreme short notice! We wouldn't have known what to do had you not dropped by today. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We would definitely recommend Kevin - he truly stands by his work and we really appreciate the work he has done.
