Mainland Ventures replaced our old windows and roof within a week, we could hardly tell that they were here they were so efficient and FAST. When they left other than the fact that the roof and the windows were new you could not tell that there was any work done! They left the place spotless and we never had a problem or issue with any of the work or materials used!

Paul's team was extremely professional. He provided us with a quote for work to remove all of the pop corn ceiling from our basement and stairway. Unlike my numerous previous experiences with building contractrors, he came in *ON BUDGET* and *ON TIME*. This was inspite of a pipe bursting in our wall, which required some additional drywall and mud to fix. The final result is fantastic and we couldn't be happier.
I would absolutely recommend Mainland Ventures as professional and trustworthy contractors - something extremely hard to find.

My mothers rental property was vacated this past summer. As she is older and wanted to downsize from her single family home she decided to move into her condo and sell her home. Unfortunately after a decade of renting the unit out to a family with 2 small children and pets the unit was considerably degraded and in desperate need of updates to the two bathrooms, kitchen, floors etc. I started to look for a company to manage and take care of the renovation for my mom as she is not familiar with the process. After meeting and "interviewing" over 5 major companies in the Metro Van area I was convinced the only company that I would feel comfortable hiring for my moms renovation was Paul from Mainland Ventures. The first 2 companies would not even deal with me as I was negotiating on behalf of the homeowner. Even after explaining that my mother was very elderly and felt intimidated with the whole process they shrugged me off and were very unhelpful. The next two companies seemed rushed in our meeting and their breakdown of their estimated prices were vague and unprofessional. Finally, I met Paul and immediately knew that I had his full attention when he turned off his phone ringer and proceeded to ask me a series of questions about my mother and the project that none of the other companies had brought to my attention. After a lengthy meeting I received a prompt follow up and detailed written estimate. Paul had no problem with a follow up meeting so he could meet my mother and discuss her specific design wants. She also felt immediately as ease with Paul and we signed a contract the following week. Even though he was unable to start until the fall we were willing to wait. My mother and I are thrilled with the end result. Paul's quality custom wood cabinets are impeccable and my moms neighbors are already inquiring as to pricing and contact info. His prices were fair and consistent with the quality of work he provides. I have no problem recommending Paul and his crew to anyone looking for any type of renovation. In fact, I've told my wife that we'll be having Paul come to our home next (as soon as his schedule frees up) to revitalize our 40 year old home. Thanks Paul for taking care of Mom. She's going to miss having you and the guys around.

I used Mainland Ventures compnay to build me a new sun deck and repair parts of the fence and enclose 2 walls of my open carport. Paul and his workers did a great job and I would reccomend them to anyone whose looking for good work at a fair price.

Built 6 Pillars in the front of the house. Great Job, Great staff. Did the job ontime and within the budget discussed. Also painted the pillars and did an awesome job with the finishing.

I downsized to a townhouse in Surrey a couple of years ago after living for over 20 years in a home in nearby North Delta. My neighbour here had contracted Mainland Ventures for their renovation type work and suggested I contact them, which I did. Paul met with me within a couple of days and brought along some great suggestions on materials and designs to renovate the ensuite bathroom in my unit. I signed a contract with him that same night and within 3 weeks the renovation was completely finished and it looks absolutely wonderful.
Also, I am the President of the Strata Council at the complex where I live and I will be bringing forward a motion at our next council meeting to add Mainland Ventures as one of our reliable and qualified contractors for various maintenance work we may require.

Paul, Mainland Ventures, is very professional, respectful, on time with both meetings and work. When in a meeting with us he would not answer his phone or texts. His crew were a joy to work with. Any questions we had were listened to and answered. We had not worked with a contractor before and were very ignorant of much of the process. Paul spent a lot of time educating us concerning his work and that of the trades people. He did this without ever making us feel ill at ease or stupid. Paul treats his trades people and sub contractors respectfully and fairly which creates a work environment that is positive for everyone, especially the client. Mainland Ventures work was done on time and on budget. This was fun and our old home is beautiful.

I purchased a home that needed some repairs and alterations, and was referred to Mainland Ventures through a business associate. After meeting with Paul Pharaon, and discussing what we wanted, I decided to go ahead with them.
Paul was a pleasure to work with, and listened to our ideas while giving good thoughts and advice. His crew were friendly and capable of dealing with everything from adding dormers to kitchen cabinetry. Even when issues arose, as they will on any project, Paul was great at communicating and working with me to resolve them. I truly felt as though he had my best interests at heart.
The project was finished on time, and within the budget parameters, and I would definitely recommend Mainland Ventures to anyone.
