Robertson Family's Kitchen Idea Centre

I have just been notified by the sub-trades they have entered a builder's lien on my property for non-payment - This Company is not responding to my phone calls or emails - maybe bankrupt?

The kitchen was a major job, everything removed, down to the studs. John from Kitchen Idea Centre was fabulous. He visited the site almost daily and make sure that a solution was found for each and every problem that arose. We did some research before we hired them and so glad that we decided to go with them. We are totally happy with their work , in fact, we are using them again now for another job. Thanks Kitchen Idea Centre

Although I paid top $ for this project. corners were cut by supplying rather cheap faucets on which the pop-up system for closing the sink is defective necessitating a call to the plumber to open the drain. K.I.C. has sent the plumber twice, but now I am afraid to use it as it might not open again. I have written to K.I.C. twice but did not even get the courtesy of a reply.

Good people - trustworthy [which is HUGE] and friendly. We are very happy with results. Only issue may be, and this is true for ALL sub-trades work, is attention to some of the details that affect function of cabinets etc ... BUT, these things are being attended to as of this writing. Patience is important as I'm regularly reminded.

Extremely friendly staff. They gave us a good price and really helped with the selection process. They have a great selection. We will be going back to buy more. We recommend for our friends to go there. Thanks guys!

This company did a very good job of our kitchen. They were helpful in selecting color schemes. The job took longer than expected as workmen weren't always available.Overall the quality of the work and material looks good.

Our family have had two kitchen renovations done by this family run business We liked the fact that they had been in business for 35 years and have three generations of family members working there. They gave us great service, the products were top quality and their staff and trades are professionals in every way. They did not take shortcuts and even took care of some unforeseen problems at no charge when walls were opened up. We are doing a bathroom renovation wtih them in September and are looking forward to another great job. Would highly recommend them to everyone looking for a kitchen or bathroom renovation. Great group to work with. Prices were comparable to others we looked at. We've already asked for the twins, Bruce and Bill, to install our bathroom cabinets. They are a pleasure to have in our home.....great installers.

We had our kitchen cabinets resurfaced in 2010 with this family owned and run business. The kitchen cabinets went from white to dark brown, using all existing boxes. The transformation was impressive, there was no hint of the old kitchen cabinets. Good workmanship. We had some reframing work done for new lights above the kitchen island, they have contractors on hand and can coordinate drywall contractor and electrician if you want. We had our own counters and tiling done, but they could have done that for us also. They are now doing bathroom renos also. Very friendly staff all around.

We contracted this company to update our kitchen in 2004. Was not a total renovation, but "updating", meaning new cabinets, countertop and backsplash. Family business, knowledgeable, friendly personalized service, not pushy, willing to check back and correct minor problems. Have visited their showroom again for new home planning. Fairly small showroom, but very good displays and ideas, and can work with any budget.
