My house which had 2 sets of shingles allready installed was in need of a new roof for 2014. I had estaimates from a couple of roofing companies and then Ed Brown came by my house and explained the roofing issues, the scope of the work needed and the price. Ed was polite, professional along with being educational. I looked over the quotes and decided on giving the job to Five Star Roofing. Because of the weather, Ed keep me informed when the job could be started and completed. My new roof was completed on time and looks good. I had no issues with the clean up of the old shingles and nails on the property. Ed followed up with a call for any problems or concerns I might have had a few days later. Excellent job by Five Star Roofing. I would recommend this company without a problem.

Edward knocked on my door and told me my roof turbine cap was missing. I went to the road to look, and sure enough there was a large hole exposed in my roof. He was willing to come the next day to replace it but due to an unexpected spring snowfall, he came the following day. The quality of the replacement turbine exceeded that of the original that was installed by our previous roofing company. i can't imagine the damage that could have occurred with the spring rains coming. Not only is he concerned with his clients, but he is looking out for their neighbours.

We had some slight shingle damage to our roof after some intense rain and wind. We informed Ed who had worked on our roof over 2 years ago and he came by on the same day and fixed them up for free!! He was on site within a half hour and replaced the damaged shingles right away. Highly recommend Ed and his crew for your roofing needs. Thanks for fixing our roof in no time!!

Ed's suggestions about what our roof required was knowledgeable and thorough. I previously had other quotes and knew Ed was the right man for the job when I met him. Ed did not try to over sell me on what was needed as some try to do. Excellent job guys.

Edward did our roof a couple of years ago and I didn't hesitate to contact him when one of my skylights started to leak (leak had nothing to do with the shingles he put in, it was the skylight itself that was leaking). Back when he did my roof, he did recommend that I replace the skylights, but I decided to hold off. I should have listened to him then, but I guess you live and learn! Knowing the damage it was causing inside, Edward came the next day to assess the situation and had the skylights up in no time. Thank you Edward for the great job as usual. You are my go to guy and I would recommended you again and again!

To someone, it may be a bit strange to write a review 2 years after Edward's team replaced our roof shingles. To us, this is most logical since only by the test of time do we know how great a job Edward's team has done. For the last two years, we have had no issues at all with our roof even in nasty climates with heavy storm and rain. The best is, recently, when our neighbour spotted a couple of nails on our roof may have popped up, we called Edward to come for an inspection, he came swiftly and quickly fixed the minor issue. He also inspected our whole roof and reassured us that things are fine. We must complement his great service and his highly professional attitude. We never know how great a warranty is until we need it. We have friends who complained that their roofing companies were nowhere to be found when they need them to fix their poor work. This contrasts greatly with the excellent work and services of Edward's company. We must say we are very pleased with our decision to have our roof done by Edward's company and for sure, we highly recommend FIVE STAR ROOFING to anyone who wants quality work and professional services. Windstorm blew a few shingles off my 2 storey roof last week. I contacted 5 different roofing companies with great reviews and didn't hear back from any of them. When I was finally able to talk to one of the companies, I was advised that they ONLY do NEW ROOFS or repairs on only roofs they've installed.

I contacted Five Star after reading some of the reviews. Within a couple of hours, I had an estimate. Within a few hours of that, my roof was repaired the same day.
Very happy and pleased with how expeditious the service was and how easy edward was to deal with.
Great service and I would definitely use them again in a heartbeat.
