If you want a good contractor you can trust, never, ever, ever, hire this man or his company. He agreed to tear down our old garage and rebuild a new one for $24,000. He took our $12,000 deposit for materials, tore down the old garage, then gave us months and months of broken promises and excuses and then completely disappeared...7 months later we have no garage and to this day he still owes us about $11,000. We are now trying to get our money back through the courts.

"Enrique (Luis) terrible contractor Worst contractor experience, ever! Ordered custom cabinets and plumbing work from Karim Home Renovations on February 16, 2007 including installation and put a deposit of $3000 via cheque as per written contract. The plumbing work (value $1200) was done but the cabinet work was never delivered and installed. It has been just under 6 months. Luis who goes by Enrique had promised to install on June 13, 2007 and never showed up. He then promised to install on June 16, 2007 and was supposedly at his granite and marble supplier getting material cut on June 15, 2007 and June 16, 2007 but he never showed up. I kept calling him every day and finally got in contact with him around mid July. He then told me the cabinets were not stained. How can he originally promise to install in June and then July he is telling me the cabinets are not stained! (Something fishy here!!!) Finally he agreed to giving the money back for the deposit portion of the cabinets and promised to off a cheque on Tuesday July 31, 2007. Cheque was not dropped off. I called him every day and finally got in contact with him on Thursday August 2, 2007 and he said he would the cheque off on Friday August 3, 2007. I checked the mail box Friday night and the cheque was not dropped off. Still waiting for refund on August 13th, 2007...." Finally got money back at the end of August.
