Mud Monkeys Waterproofing

We called mud monkeys to complete interior waterproofing on the north side of our house after we had them out a few years ago to do the exterior on the south side of our house. Both times, Darby and his team were outstanding. They completed the work on time and were extremely professional. I now don't worry about the basement when it rains. We have recommended them to our friends and neighbours. Thank-you!

We used Mud Monkeys for two separate waterproofing projects. They had been recommended to us by another reputable trade we have used in the past.

Darby was my main contact. He was polite and professional. They completed both jobs without any complaints or issues from our tenants. I was sent pictures of what they found when they dug out around the foundation and of the work completed. It definitely gives you extra confidence when any trade is happy to walk you through their work.

I would use them again if I had a situation that required it and I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a waterproofing contractor.

I hired the Mud Monkey's to come and do my basement water proofing after getting quotes from RCC, Aquatek, Clark Basement and Public Plumbing. I decided to go with Mud Monkey's because Darby the guy who came and gave the quote was very knowledgeable and was very friendly. Mudmonkeys did a superlative job waterproofing our basement. We had serious water problems at the front and back of the house. So significant it took us hours with a wet vac to just contain the water not creating any more damage.
The mudmonkeys crew were professional, thorough and reassuring. We are in the process of renovating our basement to provide a third floor for our family including a bathroom, kitchen and family room. All this would not be possible without the work from the mud monkey team.

Responded quickly to follow-ups. Ground settles after this sort of work and Darby's guys are were always back for repair the Friday after I called. Friday is repair/followup day. Monday to Thursday is when the guys are doing the water proofing. Very efficient system.

Mud Monkeys originally came and reparged the side of my house. I was happy with the job. Nearly five years later I noticed that the wall area between the house and the driveway needed to be resealed. Well I phoned Darby and he said "I remember you" and within the week he had sent one of his guys to reseal the wall with no questions asked and no payment required. I was extremely happy.

I had to install a sump pump in my basement. Darby's team did the first part of the job which was to cut out the drywall dig around the perimeter, install the sump pump bucket, fill in the excavated area with the weeping tiles and cement the area and add the waterproof membrane to the walls (not necessarily in that order). The workers were always on time, polite and friendly. They cleaned up the area each time they left and even swept along the walkway where they pushed the wheelbarrow. I was impressed with how clean they left the room. I didn't have to do any cleaning! I would highly recommend Darby's team for any basement waterproofing work.
