Max the Handyman

Max was very thorough and professional. Got the job done properly and did a fantastic job. Highly recommended

A variety of chores. A twin bed moved to the next room, a double bed moved from the basement to the second floor, the dryer exhaust system cleaned of lint, the dishwasher filter cleaned, two two-drawer metal file cabinets moved between rooms, lights under the cupboards not working.
All these were done efficiently and competently. The work area was kept neat, furniture was moved with care, Max arrived promptly.
I am highly satisfied and highly recommend Max.

I needed a small job done. Max was in my neighborhood -- he stopped by in quite literally 5 minutes, got the work done and left in an hour. The work was excellent.

I contacted Max to repair a dry wall in my basement. Communicating with him was very easy sent him a photo of my basement and gave me a quote right away. No fuss, not a lot of questions like the other 3 companies that i contacted. Max work is excellent very thorough and doesn't rush just to get things done. You can see the picture of the before and after photo below. I definitely recommend him ,he's pricing in this market is very fair and a lot less costly from the other contractors i've contacted. Max did various jobs for me including drywall repair and painting, fixing doors, recaulking a shower, installing a new faucet and drain, sink backsplash, and building and installing a large wall of Ikea cabinets. Work was done well, he was very professional and efficient. He divided the work into two invoices for me since part was for an insurance claim. Definitely recommend.

Max was very punctual. Completed the job very well and left the work-site as clean as when he arrived. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any handyman job around the house. Polite, efficient and honest. Already lined up for a spring task.

Max arrived to plug crevices on the exterior of the house to prevent rodents from entering. I then asked for several other jobs on the spot for extra payment. Max was extremely accommodating and completed all the requested jobs properly on the same day. Highly recommended.

Max tore down my broken fence and fixed my front door lock. He's very professional and efficient, and a nice person in general. Glad to work with him and definitely would recommend to others.

Our Weiser lock failed. Weiser has a lifetime warranty, but our lock was discontinued. They provided a new lock, but it had a different hole sequence. I had numerous contractors who saw an opportunity and quoted astronomical prices. I decided to try HomeStars, where Max answered and accepted the job. He arrived on time and completed the job within 30 minutes. He was amazing, professional and honest. I asked him for his card as I am definitely going to refer him. Great for any handyman job anyone may have.
