The sod has taken on my front lawn; however the entire perimeter has about 4-6 inches of weeds that were not removed prior to laying the sod.
This was not evident when the project was originally finished, but once the lawn started to grow it was very clear that it had not been done properly. I had explained to the owner of Alcozi that previous years, I had removed the weeds by hand and they started growing back within 6 weeks. I wanted them properly removed. When he finished the job, it looked fine, but within 2 weeks, the weeds started growing back. I contacted him and he advised me I should have sealed the interlock.
He would do this for an additional $2000.
I had asked for a quote from him on this but he did not recommend it,
but provided a quote to me. There is no way the weeds would have grown back that quickly if the job was done correctly. . My front yard and interlocking looks worst them it has in years with the exception of the portion of the lawn that was sodded correctly. I am a widow and a senior and I want to warn other potential customers of this. The contractor was fully aware of why I wanted this work done as it is too difficult for me to do myself.
