Was working with Steve and Ricky until Nov 2023 on our cottage, everything was great. Plan to finish some minor work this spring. We had our inspection no problem with electricals. The inspector asked for a ESA report. No one respond to email, website and the phone is not on.
Did they close down or went bankrupt? Anyone has informations? Thanks

I purchased a generator and paid for all the labor in 2021. It was just over 15 thousand dollars. It is now 2024 and I have a broken generator that never worked from the day it was installed . I call the company, email and text. They dont respond.

I invested more than $200,000 in a solar system installation that, unfortunately, was not completed. I am now faced with the task of resolving the remaining issues. It appears that the installation team has disbanded and abruptly shut down the business, leaving all their clients in the lurch. If others have been similarly affected and are considering joint legal action, please connect with me. I am in the process of engaging top legal counsel to address this matter through the proper legal channels.

When we learned very quickly that electricity was something best left to the experts, Steve was our first call--and our only call. We had planned to get bids from several electricians, but once we met MUSKOKA'S POWER PROFESSIONALS, we stopped searching. Not only was he prompt, honest, and very courteous, he was also extremely professional. Steve was very upfront with project costs and time, and had everything done well ahead of what was promised. Steve even sent us a thank you note in appreciation for our business. It's really rare to find his level of work ethic (and commitment to a job well done) these days. I first got to know Steve - the Master Electrician at Muskoka's Power Professionals - when he was working on a job at my brother's cottage. After moving to my new, remote location, I wanted to go off-grid solar (with a generator back-up), and also needed lighting for my recently constructed shop/garage; and now that work for both is complete, I will very highly recommend MPP.

There is so much to say, but will attempt to summarize below the excellent job conducted by Steve and his team.

Firstly, the solar installation. With respect to the required components, assembly and tasks involved - the whole process was made simpler than I originally thought after my initial research. Steve arranged for materials to be delivered to my location, or picked them up and delivered them himself. Work was done efficiently, safely, properly, professionally, with no cutting of corners. Setting up solar also involves construction work - concrete pads, heavy lifting, precarious placement of components (e.g. heavy solar panels lifted at significant heights above ground level) and so forth. Steve did this like it was second nature to him. Regarding the pole mount for the solar panels, he even used my tractor to place the 14-goot long heavy rigid steel pipe into a 2-foot wide, 8-feet long sono tube with recently poured cement!

Secondly, the garage /shop lighting and electrical. Wiring was done fast and I was asked what type of lights I wanted. Made my selection, shop lights delivered and installed. Now it is nice and bright in the garage, which only has two small windows for natural light. Steve also arranged for the Inspector to come by so as to be sure everything was to code.
Muskoka's Power Professionals were always kind and respectful, even with my many questions, and made sure to get my confirmation for placement of cables, drilled hole locations, and other structural modifications required to get the job done. Also, they were open to my suggestions. As in all such type work, sometimes unexpected issues arise, but were always promptly and calmly resolved. Steve is a MacGyver problem solver. An example: the supplier of the solar components wanted an excessive amount of money for specialized battery cables. Steve referred me to another supplier and obtained them himself at much lesser cost.

Again, if the reader wishes to go off-grid solar, needs a generator installation and/or requires electrical work, then this reviewer insists that you contact Muskoka's Power Professionals.

After working with several vendors here for my build it became apparent that everyone wants to charge muskoka tax which I wouldnt tolerate. I fired 2 other electricians only to find MPP who did exceedingly amazing work, very quickly and at a price that was far superior to anyone else.
