We've hired Brad now for a few jobs including 1) completing main floor renovations on a rental property after we learned the hard way how long it takes to DIY. 2) constructing the footings for an oversized gazebo and building the floating deck frame (my husband insisted on assembling the gazebo and finishing the deck floor for his own fun) 3) completing basement renovations required to legalize an existing secondary suite including coordinating with other trades. I appreciated Brad listening to what I wanted, respecting my ideas and making suggestions that demonstrated he was in tune with my expectations from a quality, finishing and budget perspective. He's very responsive in his communication and doesn't shy away from any aspect of the project. Brad has the tools, knowledge and experience to provide efficient high quality work for all aspects of construction and finishing work and we were super pleased with all of the outcomes. I look forward to working with him again in the future.

We have been planning to build a hardtop gazebo since last year. The only issue we had was that we were not sure how to secure it to our concrete floor, as the installation service provided from the store did not include pickup, garbage disposal or securing.

I saw a good 10×12 gazebo on sale and posted my questions on HomeStars. Brad responded the next day and we started texting about the project. He asked me to take a few pictures of the concrete and told me how he would do it.

He asked about timing, and I told him. He was already booked next week so it would be 2 weeks until he could work on the gazebo. I told him that the suggested installation time was 3 hours. He then suggested me to order it and arrange for pick-up instead of delivery.

So I ordered Monday night, he picked it up Thursday morning and finished by the evening.
He checked all the boxes and opened some to make sure no damage had occured before loading to his truck, and when he arrived, he unpacked and accounted for all the parts, then read the instruction thoroughly before starting to build it. He also secured the whole gazebo to our concrete floor.

He charged us fairly by the hour, including pick-up, disposal of garbage and securing the gazebo to the concrete floor professionally. We ended up paying less then what the store quoted for installation - which would not include all of these extra services.

He is very detail-oriented and very thorough. Easy to work with and professional. Respectful and has great communication. My husband and I are both very impressed and happy as I got the last package on sale and he made it all happen within 3 days!
