We had sewer backup problems since April. Got a company to come in in November to change sewer line. We had to remove the pathway to access the line. Awesome quoted us $4K then $3K saying he had to charge us double as it was cold. We had to fix the sewer as the poop water kept coming into our basement. His guy took 3 hours and removed the stones. The sewer company had an accident with their excavator and was delayed 3 days. I told Awesome almost two days before he was due. He then told me the money was forfeit as I changed the date for him to come. Then he said he would do it but changed the date 4 or 5 times, he had family concerns, birthday parties, covid, then his staff had covid and now his son is in the hospital. I paid him fully. My fault. He then said 80% of work was done in the removal, so he will refund me $500.00 then $300.00 We asked him back for the $1500.00 for half the work. He is not doing the work or returning the money. He has become threatening "you don't know who you are dealing with". He has our money and won't come for his tools until he is ready. Even coming for his tools turned into "shortly", "boxing day", the 28th etc. Then he threatens us with a lawyer if we leave his tools out of the garage. He has taken our money, not finished the work i.e. put back the stones, charged us double AND threated us if we don't keep his tools in our garage until he decides when he comes for them. I have decided an unfinished, trip hazard is better than dealing with someone who is dangerous and threatening. I have all the texts and messages to prove what I am saying...RUN.

In the past 35 years I have never met a client from hell- now I have- and yes there will be a lawyer involved 100 percent.

My tools that you left in the rain and snow and then left in front of my house on the sidewalk- were taken from people walking by-
The TRUTH- I came and removed interlock- I received $1500 plus HST to do same. Then 1 month later you call me asking Me to come and reinstall- I told you to book me for day ti reinstall you need to pay me $1500 plus HST

But you forgot to mention- that we did come back

I came the very next day and your husband came out and we agreed that I would come back on the Friday as it was going to be plus 11 degrees - he let me leave my tools in the garage.
Then I planned my Anniversary with my wife till the 27th with the kids in Niagara Falls.
You started asking for $1500 plus HST back-
You didn't want me to proceed- you told me my tools have been placed outside in the rain and snow -

He then left my tools in front of my hime on the sidewalk-

My wonderful wife said it was ok to come back to Mississauga to clear things up with you-

And said I am not welcomed on your property and that I will be charged if I am seen there.
RIDICULOUS- and now this blown out of proportion review.
I am sure you have done this to other contractors before-
God knows the truth- we will all pay for our bad deeds in this life in the life hereafter-
