Citywide Flooring

Rabi and his team did a phenomenal job swapping out my old floorboards both in the bedrooms and the hallways. The seamless transition and accurate cutting made the entire floor look amazing. We also had the railings done for the staircase, and he was able to find wood that matched the floorboards in colour and design. He worked quickly and professionally in order to finish the job, and I am very satisfied with the end result.

Craftsmanship was impeccable, and they laid a very tough style of flooring. Known as herringbone floors.

They event went further ahead, and helped fix the damages caused by other contractors.

Accepted their quote to get my condo flooring installed with vinyl. Rabi and his team were on time and quick doing the removal and starting the flooring. After the first day, showed him some spots where the flooring was sinking at the grooves and he said the material was defective and he could glue the spots and it would be fine.

Second day he started on the other side of the condo and brought me over to show me the material was cracking due to uneven floors and was continuing to install it. Any professional would have stopped if something was defective and not just continue just because. Maybe I should have stopped him but I didn't because he told me he would start levelling the floors. A week after finishing, everday there were new cracking noises and flooring breaking. Also showed him the transition that wasn't glued properly and he has yet to come fix it.

The manufacturer of the flooring came out and I showed him the underpad used and he said it's too thick and the cushion is why it's been cracking. The flooring company he brought the material from came out and showed me first hand what citywide had done incorrect. The manufacturer said he would give all new flooring if Rabi and his team would do the install over and Citywide Flooring denied saying it was in their budget and left me to figure this out for myself. I guess once you get your money, it's ok to run and hide.

The flooring company used their own team and reinstalled the new flooring for me correctly with no hiccups. Upon removal of my old floors, I found my internet cable nailed through by Rabi and his team.

I also posted a picture where they didn't put the underpad all the way and the level difference caused the flooring to crack down the middle.

And to top it off, I was told they warranty their work for 2 years, but because I selected the material myself and paid them for the delivery, they would not warranty it after the installation was already complete.

If it wasn't for the flooring wholesaler I would be one of those homeowners left in a bad place and having to pay for a job twice

Im not here to debate any responses from them, just want everyone to know what happens when you hire the wrong company for the job.

Received a hostile phone call on Friday September 16 where I was being yelled at and disrespected because they didn't like my review. This is not professional and is worry some that a contractor would treat their client like this considering they wouldn't come rectify any of the issues brought to their attention because "it was not in their budget to do the job for free". Like previously stated, I'm not here to debate anything he replies with, but just to allow other homeowners to be weary when choosing a contractor to complete a job.

Rabi and his teem at Citywide Flooring did an excellent job at removing my old laminate floor in the kitchen and replacing it with a beautiful porcelain tile. Throughout the whole process, everyone was respectful of my family and my home, polite and patient. Rabi responded quickly and with detail to any concerns or questions I had. He even refused to get fully paid until I was completely satisfied with the job. Every member of the team was highly professional cleaning up at the end of each day, showing up on time and keeping the noise down to only what was necessary. Rabi was here every day and oversaw every step of the project, making sure it was done to the highest of standards and to what we discussed. My new floor is everything I hoped for. I haven't one complaint. In fact, Rabi took the time to help me with other concerns I had in my home, going above and beyond what was expected of him. I highly recommend Citywide Flooring to anyone and would hire them again without hesitation. Thank you Rabi and team for an amazing job!

I planned a small renovation in my condo. I called Citywide to quote on my flooring. After a very knowledgeable conversation, and a visit from a technician the following day . They provided me with a quote. It seemed more then fair. A date was set and once they arrived I was very impressed with the Quality of work, their professionalism and tideiness!!
