Phil the Handyman

Phil was prompt to respond to my service request. He was able to come the same evening to take a look at the condensation that is being buildup in the pantry. He went into the attic and saw that some of the insulation had drifted away from the area and ensure it was adequately covered which will hopefully be the full resolution of the issue.

Phil contacted me after I posted a message on HomeStars looking for a contractor to replace two vent covers. He gave me an estimate and also agreed to come and do an assessment to see which type of vent we needed. He also purchased them for me at the local hare store (which I then paid him back). Phil did a fantastic job in replacing both vents one of which was very high and needed a ladder. He also caulked around them and cleaned the site. Phil is very easy to communicate with and flexible with his client. I highly recommend him.

He was an honest person , he was able to remove dryer and washing machine almost alone , at the beginning I thought they are sending a huge handy man but he was not

My rather large shed (20'x20') has a metal roof that had started to rust. Phil came out and suggested a rust proofing product. The job was harder than anticipated due to its location near a fence. He did a wonderful job of sealing and rustproofing the metal. Phil was very professional and personable.

Phil replied quickly to my posting. We arranged a time for him to come over the next day to look at the fan and identify what he thought the issue was. He arrived when he said he would. He took a photo of the existing model, measured the space, and demonstrated and explained how to replace the motor. We agreed that I was able to replace the motor myself and that if that didn't solve the issue he would return, check out the duct work, and fix the ultimate cause. When I asked what I owed him, he replied "pay what you think is fair". Phil is prompt, fair, communicative, and helpful. I won't hesitate to contact him if the new motor doesn't fix the problem.
