Bertin Contracting

Looking for drywall repairs at the not-for-profit nursing home i work at. Kris quoted me $1100 and a bit. Seemed reasonable. Asked for a $200 deposit for materials and i etransfered it. Haven't heard from him since. Been 6 weeks and he will not answer my emails or phone calls. Phoned him again today. Number is out of service. HomeStars can't help me. This is my first HomeStars experience. I understand we all have things come up but the fact that he won't talk to me at all is very disappointing. I just want my deposit back to hire someone else. Did not expect to be burned like this.

Kris was courteous, prompt and very professional. He knew exactly what needed to be done. I am very satisfied with the results. I recommend this company. I will definitely use them again.

We hired Kris to regrout our kitchen and bathroom floors as well as retile one of our showers. Our initial impressions of the work was that it was okay, but it quickly fell apart upon closer inspection. The grout came out of the floors, kitchen tiles were chipped, and the caulking was very messy and sloppy in the shower. Paint touch ups were also done that were incomplete and splattered. Further to the above issues one of our bathroom vanities was left completely scratched by Kris storing tools and equipment on it. In addition to needing to again re-do everything Kris did we now need to purchase a new vanity. We are worse off than when we started.

Further to problems with the work and results we also experienced many communication issues with Kris and he was very difficult to get a hold of. I do not recommend him.

Kris came in from start to finish he was very professional, got the job done on time and left absolutely no mess afterwords. He will be my go to contractor in the future.

Kris did a great job helping us repairing and finishing the drywall in our bedroom and bathroom. He was hard working, courteous and kept attention to detail, coming back to make sure everything was finished to our satisfaction.

Bertin contracting was always on time very professional. They also finished ahead of schedule and the finished product exceeded my expectations

Very satisfied with the service I received, the interlock looks great. Once I find a gazebo I will be having them back to install that on top of it.

Professional, timely, and courteous. Cleaned up areas completely. Excellent workmanship on floors. Would use again.
