These guys are so friendly and extremely thorough with all the work done! I told them the dryer vent issues I was having, and they handled it with the utmost professionalism and also went the extra mile to ensure that I was totally satisfied. Great customer service and their lunch was on me! Great bunch of people and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Dryer Vent and Booster Fan Motor

In Nov. 2021 we contacted Dryer Vent Wizard because of an awful sound coming from the booster fan attached to our dryer vent.

We are in a 20yr old condo building and, after realizing that no-one had ever cleaned our vents during that period, we contracted with Dryer Vent Wizard to come see what the problem was. At that time, the technician cleaned our vents, updated our vent connector hose (to bring it up to current fire standards) and cleaned our booster fan. We were impressed with the work and the tech, Sulaiman.

Unfortunately, I think being clean of all that dust and cat fluff was a shock to the motor's system and it just died 2 days later. But it was 20 yrs old and had been working hard.

We contacted Dryer Vent Wizard again, and between December 2021 and March 2022, we maintained contact while they tried to source a new fan motor/fan system for us.

In March 2022, Quintin arrived with a new booster fan motor and installed it. The fan is now so quiet that my husband doesn't believe I've turned it on. In the entire time living here it had never been that quiet!

I'd like to thank Vic for maintaining contact across that time. The problems locating a replacement when supply chains were being impacted were not his fault, but he stayed in touch and kept trying.

Dryer Vent Fire Prevented

It went very well and our service was promptly scheduled. The technician, was most personable and very knowledgeable with what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem as a clogged dryer vent which he cleared, resolving the problem. He also checked other components to prevent any future trouble. All in all, this was a great experience which proved to be quite reasonable. I would have no hesitation about using them again.

Dryer vent installation

Quintin was phenomenal. He did exactly what was expected by removing our old dryer vent and installing a new one. Plus he went above and beyond with this. He configured our new dryer vent to exit our home at a much shorter distance! Not sure why the original installer connected it so far away. Our experience was great and we'd definitely hire these guys again.

Called these guys after hours when my dryer wasn't performing properly & their very nice customer service lady called back early following morning. Scheduled vent inspection and cleaning. Tech arrived on time. He arrived uniformed, masked, was very professional. He had to go through the roof vent access. He removed a few years of dryer lint & also found us some missing socks. He cleaned under & around dryer & put everything back nicely. The dryer is working great again. The cost is very fair with all the services he performed. I would absolutely use Dyer Vent Wizard of East York and The Beaches again & would recommend them to others. A+++
