PatchBoyz Drywall Repair

It began with a ceiling repair quote for less than half of what the job ended up costing. It ended with a 4-foot crack between drywall sheets because no joint tape was used. In between were many hours of remedial work and clean-up done by me because much of the work was poorly executed: no taping of joints, as mentioned, no corner beads on corners, lots of air bubbles in the mudding work that had to be spackled and repainted, lots compound and paint specks on walls, floors, tiles, cabinets, and trim. When I showed the image of the 4-foot crack, the office told me it was due to a structural problem, which problem was mine, not theirs. Will never use patchboyz (and/or girlz) again; will warn loved ones against making the mistake we made.

I used Patchboyz recently for some water damage/drywall replacement and they did a fantastic job. Their communication before, during, and after the job was excellent, the technicians were professional and courteous, and the work was done with excellent quality. We had a newly renovated bathroom leak into the living room ceiling and the repair left us with a less than flat ceiling. Having used Patchboyz in the past we were very happy when they were asked to come address it. Patchboyz didn't cut corners or just slap a bandaid on the ceiling, they fixed the source of the bump and we once again have a flat ceiling with no signs it was ever repaired.
We will continue to use them for all our drywall repairs.

Patchboyz cam in after another contractor did a sub par job removing my popcorn ceiling. They completely covered the poor plaster and paint job and left my ceilings looking great. Am hiring them again to remove popcorn in a bedroom and laundry room because I was so pleased with their work.
