Hi Santas,
Thank you for your review however since we only met briefly at our first consultation this review is solely based on your neighbors word and unfortunately it is just one side of the story.
We take great pride in our work ethic, quality and have successfully built 1000's of feet of fencing over the past 14 years and continue to do so.
Firstly the board spacing was 1/8" greater than what was originally mentioned, also we were never given a fair chance to correct this concern since the day after the installation, on a Sunday, we received an email that they had begun to remove and re-install the boards on several sections themselves which at this point they preferred to reboard on their own accord saying it wasn't an issue for them and they would be happy to do so and end up reducing the gap to half of the original spacing request.
Secondly the 2 or 3 sections of bottom rail that ended up at different elevations was due to the fact that our team had spent an hour or two of time raising and lowering the sections by Johns request and oversight until he was happy with the final elevation. Therefore during all of the back and forth, there was a couple of sections that had some differences among all the changes that we acknowledged and we had lowered at the next visit.
In addition, When we left the gates were sitting at a perfect level with each other on the top. We had even pre measured the heights with John and discussed the exact spacing below so that when it opened it would not jam against your interlock stone due to its higher elevation behind the gates.
There was not a mention of any interlock/patio issues due to post locations at any point of our on site reviews . Yes all of the old footings were removed by your neighbor John and we did our best to place the post in the centre of those open holes that he had dug after which our team cleaned the holes to all the proper depths and cemented them in. We did not receive any reference lines to put the new posts in an exact location so the gate post ended up 1 to 2" further than the old one.
We did everything to make this right to their expectations and we truly wish that the outcome had been better for all parties involved.
