Alan was so sweet and did a phenomenal job. He came for an estimate and was there 2 days later. He took time and care to make sure everything was done right even when our new dimmer was acting wonky.

I was looking to finish our basement which required 11 new electrical outlets as well as 16 pot lights. A number of existing switches needed to be moved and re-wired to accommodate these changes, and this also required some additions to our breaker so that we could run new lines from it. Alan (Ali) from Lamplighter Electric masterfully navigated all of the challenges that our space required, and he did it with a smile on face the whole time. Not only is he a world class electrician, but he is also a world class person. His positive attitude and solid work ethic made this work enjoyable, and actually quite educational for me. He provided regular updates and communicated extremely well. He had a consultant come in to ensure that my wife and I had thought of everything for the space. As a result of this meeting, we made some changes to the original plan that required the overall timeframe of the project to take longer (at no additional cost). He was extremely flexible and gracious with us, and you can tell he ultimately wants your space to be optimal for you and your family. This is the kind of person you want in your corner to help you make informed decisions, and at the end of the day, we were extremely fortunate to have engaged in this work with Ali.

In my newly renovated basement, two of the arc fault circuit breakers keep dripping. Brand new LG washer and the new Samsung TV& Play station 5 dripped the breakers. They were in separate breakers. I called the master electrician who did the wiring, and he blamed the new washing machine and the contractors who did the drywall and refused to fix the issue. My tenants kept complaining the issue. I called Ali from Lamplighter electric, and he fixed the issue on the same day, and charged very reasonable price than I expected. My tenant is very happy and i have peace of mind.

Bathroom exhaust fan stopped working and made a request through home star. Alan contacted us promptly and within 2 hours he visited the property and checked the switch and electricals but issue was with the exhaust fan itself. Alan purchased new fan and came back to replace within 2 days.

Alan did an excellent job with replacing 3-way light switches inside our house and removing an outdoor electrical box that previously connected to a hot tub.

He was fast and arrived right on time. He was courteous to me and my family. He suggested different approaches where appropriate. He did exactly what was requested for a good price.
