We hired Jani and his team in June 2022 to do concrete stairs for our front door. They build the wooden frame to pour the concrete and left nails sticking out all over, the sharp side out to be specific. This was left like this for two weeks almost. I have a 4 year old and couldnt let him off my side in fear hed get stabbed by the many nails.
Once the job was finished the stairs looked terrible immediately. August 2022 cracks started to appear under the stairs. We reached out to Jani for a repair job, and after telling us many many times he would come and take a look, he shockingly never showed up.
His staff also made 5 huge holes in our brand new stucco because they didnt care while working with a shovel. Didnt bother protecting my front door or windows next to it and concrete splashed all over the door and the new stucco. I cant explain how awful this company is.
The stairs are looking worse month after month. February 2023 and the stairs are now chipping away. 5 months after spending $14000 I now have to get quotes for a patch job. The contractors that I have reached out to now have all stated these stairs will need to be patched yearly as they are poor quality.
I will be happy to make changes to this review if Jani ever does show up to make this right after being paid $14000 for this amateur job.
March 29,2023- I have emailed and texted Jani with no reply back. The stairs are starting to shed the whole top layer. I hope everyone learns from my mistakes and uses another company. These are my stairs after 1 winter.

Let me start by first and foremost by apologies for this experience and for not being happy with our services. I know we were supposed our November or December to fix the problems that appeared. We were extremely busy and completely backed up with our projects. Regardless on top of that we have changed our work number and we are really sorry for not getting back to you. This is definitely not who we are as a company and costumer satisfaction is a priority. I am acknowledging that we should have been better regarding the communication. Regarding the job we will come and fix everything that needs to be fixed. I have explained to your husband as well when pouring concrete temperatures really matter and I know the day we poured it was extremely hot and unfortunately the concrete didn't heal properly and things like you are experiencing happen but they are fixable without a problem. I don't know what other contractors have told and quite frankly I don't even consider their opinion because we know what we need to do to get everything fixed and as I said we will do it. Now you saying our company is awful and that the stairs looked right a way awful when I checked on you guys a month later it's not true at all. Also we had to leave the concrete forming for two weeks because it's part of the job and regarding the nails my apologies but you should never approach or walk where the concrete forming is because of course there could be nails and screws out the forming. I am just addressing all your points and i understand your frustration.
Regardless of some of the points not being valid as I acknowledged above our responsibility we will come as soon as possible and correct everything.
