Empire Paving

We started the quotes for the driveway paving in June and decided on Empire in July. Signed the contract in July and the job was supposed to be done on a timely basis. We understood that the weather wasn't always cooperative and there may have been many other jobs but it took 3 months to do a small job in spite of the fact that we kept following up on a regular basis with Mike the representative and finally one of the owners. Once the job finally got done the crew worked well and the final paving job was of a good quality. However, the delay was completely unacceptable. Two things if considering Empire make sure that if you are not getting any satisfaction from Mike you contact the owners early on in the process and secondly make sure you ask for them to provide a clearance certificate from the WSIB otherwise you the homeowner become responsible if there should be an injury on the job.
