Needed a home inspector for a linked property house we bought that was built in the late 70s. Previous owner didn't know the date of the roof, furnace, water, ac, electrical etc. Used homestars to find a few contacts, called/emailed a few, and Kevin was one of the easiest to talk to, very informative off the bat and asked relevant questions without us needing to prompt for more information. He arrived at the house on time and ready to go, gave us an overview of the process and invited us along at our preference. He was very clear in explaining what he saw, and was very clear on his opinion and recommendation but not necessarily absolutely what to do. Walked us through basically everything a first time home owner should know to maintain and understand their home, including improvements that can be made. Gave advice on renovation ideas we had, identified key spots to look at. Finished inspection in around 2 hours. Report provided same day is very comprehensive, with pictures highlighting the issues, how to/who can fix, and qualitative priority timelines.
