I was having moisture issues in my bathroom that was causing staining on the ceiling and walls. I wasn't sure who to call to fix it as I wasn't sure of what the problem was. Jesse, with CGY home inspections, took photos of the roof, attic space, as well as infrared imaging and a moisture meter, and identified a ventilation issue. Jesse helped me to understand what the problem would need to be resolved, what type of contractor I should be looking for, and a rough
scope of time and price for the repair.

Well, $500 for the first visit. We had water coming in the basement and had no clue where it was coming from. Jesse actually found 2 sources where our furnace air flow and gutter system lead to water seeping through the foundation and other water staining (We thought it was 1 problem). Anyways, he told me how to fix the problems so I didn't have to hire a contractor, and I signed up for his seasonal maintenance inspection so we can catch problems when they are still small.... Thanks for the help Jesse.

Jesse came with us to walk through a few houses we were considering buying that we could renovate ourselves. Jesse was able to help us pick the right house for our renovation project while keeping our budget and ability in mind. His advice and knowledge spared us from unnecessary stress and wasted money spent. We wouldnt hesitate to call him or CGY home inspections again for our next project!

Jesse did a complete renovation of our master bathroom, delivering an exceptional finished product: tile, plumbing, electrical, paint, tub / shower and a custom-designed wall-hung cabinet, He matched the stain perfectly to that of furniture in the adjoining bedroom. He came up with creative design solutions and when he didn’t like the look of the existing window frame, he replaced it with one that was a better fit. He was very attentive to detail, punctual and cleaned up at the end of each day. We were comfortable with having Jesse in our home, especially during the Covid pandemic. Jesse finished the renovation in a timely manner; exceeding our expectations. We will and have already brought him back to work on other projects. We highly recommend him.

Jesse re-finished our outdated Laundry Room with Fresh Paint, New flooring, Baseboards and re hung the cabinet doors. We asked him to do a few extras for us like put on the handles and hooks on the walls. He was always friendly and personable. He was very punctual with his emails and clean up on his part was spectacular. Jesse had wonderful suggestions when certain items didn't go to plan (our hinges). We enjoyed having Jesse in our home and without hesitation will have him back for future projects.

We hired Jesse to replace an old railing with a pony wall. He came in with fantastic ideas, very aware of detail and paying attention to other finishes in the house. His communication was great throughout the entire project and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Can’t wait to work with Jesse again!!

Built our Barn/garage. Was see less for us! Organized trades and finished by himself. Enthusiastic , smart guy! Would recommend him to anyone! Pride in work and Communicated extremely well. Will employ again!

Not the first time we have had Jay Thomas Construction do a project for us. Jesse did the work and is very conscientious about doing the job right and takes pride in his workmanship. Always keeps us informed on the project and very reliable when it comes to completing the work. Would not hesitate in recommending him for various home projects.

Jay Thomas construction did an excellent job of renovating my basement and main floor. Installed tiling, new doors, laminate flooring, painted the entire basement and most of the upstairs, did some finishing carpentry and even did some plumbing. All work Jesse performed was above grade. Jesse is honest, does great work and didn't go over budget. Finished the project on time, showed up every day and worked diligently. I would not hesitate to hire his company again and I highly recommend them for any of your renovation requirements.
