I was thinking about replacing my gas furnace with a heat pump in my house because I wanted to take advantage of the generous BC Rebate that is currently (Sep 2024) available. I came to know about Bright Way through my neighbour who had just finished installing a heat pump. I was quite happy with what I saw and decided to give Bright Way a call. In the end I chose Bright Way over the other two big name companies to install the heat pump when I got my approval code from CleanBC. Here are the reasons why I chose Bright Way:
1. They are an ESP Registered Contractor selling qualifying products.
2. Their scope of work described in the quotation was the most comprehensive - including all licensing, electrical hook-ups, cables and refrigerant pipes outdoor covering conduits, and an adjustable metal snow stand for the heat pump.
3. Jason (from Bright Way) took care of the rebates and therefore saving me the troubles of getting the rebate myself.
4. I had a choice to choose a very affordable GREE 3-ton heat pump, and therefore a significant saving over the other premium brands.
5. Their quote was the most affordable among the three.
It took Jason and his helper just slightly over 2 days to replace my old gas furnace with the heat pump. It is now almost a month passed and I have zero problem with the heat pump so far. It works great and I must say that it is quieter than my old furnace while keeping my room temperature very stable and never deviates from my set 22 degree C. All in all I found that not only did Jason complete his tasks according to schedule and on time, it is his honesty, professionalism and workmanship that impressed me the most. I would have no problems recommending Bright Way to anyone who is looking for someone to install a heat pump.
