Brawn Bros Heating & Cooling Solutions

Brawn bros installed a furnace in my home. then they never respond the calls, their address is not exist. Even though, I bought the furnace from them so expensively then they are like perished. NEVER TRUST THEM, NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. Save your money and time from this company. No customer service at all.

I am very pleased with the service provided by brawn bros. I only had one issue which was my fault cause I didnt understand how to use it but they were super friendly answered my calls and guided me on how to use the thermostat correctly!

Completely operate against consumer protection laws - install empty casing units, do not service once contract is signed they sell it to twentyfirst financial and leave you on the hook with zero service. Pass this company and choose another dont have my experience

BB took advantage of my cousin with disabilities in Aug 2021. Installed a new tankless water heater in his home by tricking him and being untruthful to him. We found out about this in Feb of 2023 after learning they had placed a lien against his family home. BB marketers/sales rep would have known my cousin had disabilities after interacting with him. My cousin told the sales rep that he could not read.
BB approached my cousin at his door. Promoting a Special Government Energy Rebate Program. BB marketers and sales rep made false and misleading claims about the product they were promoting - see huge savings on energy bills, save hundreds of dollars a year. Lead him to believe they were affiliated with the government. Rep used scare tactics to trick him into replacing his hot water heater - told him his hot water heater was leaking carbon monoxide into the air, needed to replace it right away. Withheld important details from him - never told him he was signing a 15 year lease - did not disclose the minimum terms lease amount of $23,535.24 - did not go over terms and conditions even knowing he could not read. The BB rep remained in his home coached him through TPV (Third Party Verification Call) No contract left and no rebate
BB and their financial partner Twenty First Financial have been aware of our concerns since March 2023 They have never acknowledged the actions of their reps nor the fact that my cousin has disabilities. Power of Attorney papers have been forwarded to them along with a Dr's note verifying my cousin's disabilities and stating that he does not, nor did he have the capacity to enter into this agreement. Now they are ignoring my emails and refusing to communicate.
If you have a lease with them you probably have a lien on your home with a huge buyout proposal This is how they make money. My cousins buyout is $10,000.00 or pay almost $24,000.00 over 15 years for a $4500.00 heater!
I have filed a formal complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario.

Installation of unit was very poorly done. The opening for air condition was bigger than the new unit and they didnt have nothing to accommodate that so it just gap between front and the back which I can provide in the picture.
I think that you should at least compensate me for some..
now I have to hire somebody to do the job that should have been done by your company. Im not happy with that.

Inspite of my repeated request Brown Bros. Heating and cooling Solution did not pay my rebate amount of $500. It has been almost six months from the date of installation of AC and Furnace in my house and they are supposed to pay my rebate in maximum of two months.

I talked to their representative, Nicky this morning, and she provided the same excuse, I.e. the matter is still with their accounts department.

Does anyone knows the email address of this company s CEO?

I think it is time publish it in local media so that people can get careful when they deal with this company.

My utility bills sky rocketed over the past 24 months, I decided to get a assessment and quote done by the Brawn Bros.

Elijah was my advisor, his customer service skills are out of the world as well his product knowledge.
He was able to explain the reason on why the bills have sky rocketed , gave us an easy monthly payment plan as well got us an additional discount from the provincial government on our Hydro bill.

The equipment is top notch and the installers were friendly and efficient!
Utility bills have dropped more then half in price since the new equipment got installed.

I paid zero down and my first payment came out 30 days after the actual installation.

I would recommend to always as for Elijah to be your advisor, I would leave his number on here but I don't want his phone exploding lol.

Installed Oct27/2021. Still awaiting reimbursement of ~$300.00 in spite of weekly calls. Mangers Jessica/ Anika & Anessa remain too busy or unavailable to return calls- this is extremely bad customer service and very unprofessional. It is easier to spread the word about bad service amongst my peers. Company’s commitment and customer service polices to be reviewed and Managers retrained.

Brawn bros was the first company i brought in to look into replacing my furnace.
The man arrived on Friday Nov 19 and immediately starting making unsupported statements that by just looking at my furnace he knew it was 70,000 BTUs. And it was 85% efficient originally and now that it's 15 years old it loses 1% efficiency per year and therefore it is only 70% efficient today. He didn't do any measurements or anything - just made this claims. I insisted we should try to find the model number and check the BTUs and once we did we found it was actually 100,000 BTUs.
Then the man insisted i needed a 110,000 BTUs furnace for the size of my house and gave me a quote of $5900 for that. It would be a Lennox brand furnace. Then he made statements that he could even upgrade to 120,000 BTUs for no extra cost.
He also said the Enbridge program would give me $600 rebate for the furnace and i didn't need to do anything else.
Finally he claimed he had a 4.8 star rating on Homestars.
After he left i did more research on the company.

They do not have a 4.8 star rating on Homestars - this was misleading.
There is no such thing as a 120k BTU Lennox furnace - he either was guessing or was trying to mislead me.
The Enbridge rebate was for $250 only (not $600) for a furnace and required 3 upgrades to my home to be eligible. Meaning i could not do just the furnace upgrade alone.
Finally his quote of $5900 is very high - other contractors were quoting me approximately $3500.

Overall i would not recommend hiring this company. too risky.

Had my new furnace installed on Thursday. The guys were nice, laid down blankets on the carpeting. They did a good job.

Had the tankless hot water installed on Monday, Manish and team were awesome. Manish took the time to explain the furnace to me and gave me a tutorial on the tankless water, and took the furnace manual out of the furnace. He even changed the set up on my humidifier, now I can actually turn it on/off
