I hired this contractor through his company to add a guest bedroom to the basement and do some other minor work (e.g. add a heat register to a bathroom in an extension).
He started the project well. It's mostly done now. Frankly, the quality of work isn't great, but I wasn't expecting perfection for the price.
Despite repeated assurances, he has stopped showing up and the job is not done. The guest bedroom walls are not smoothed or painted. It's just uneven primer. It looks awful. He no called no showed several times and then stopped returning my calls, texts, and emails. He stopped showing up after I paid him the last installment (which I shouldn't have done in retrospect).
Don't make the same mistake I did. Don't hire him.
I will take this review down if he finishes the work or provides a refund.
