I am reaching out to you here because my calls have not been returned in regards to a refund for a cancelled cleaning service which was previously schedule for Saturday September 10th. As was discussed with Marie, the service was cancelled because the services that were about to be provided were not the services previously requested on the Eh maids website. The Cleaners reviewed the list of things they were about to performed prior to commencing and informed me that the kitchen fridge and stove outside and inside were not going to be cleaned in addition to beds not being made. Again, as mentioned to Marie, this was not was expected. Marie explained during our conversation that linens would not be done after I confirmed that I did not select that from the list on the website as this was always included in cleanings I’ve had done by other companies in the past. I informed Marie that I selected fridge and stove prior to receiving the quote. Somehow the quote that was sent to me via email did not include fridge and stove.
I phoned the office on Saturday morning to explain the misunderstanding and requested a refund. I was met with hostility and disrespect by a receptionist who informed me to call back on Monday morning. In further discussions with Marie, I was told that the cleaners deserved to be paid for the gas used to come to my house. I agree that they should be paid but not at my expense. I was subsequently charged $123.74 unjustly and I’m requesting a full refund. I have called and left messages only to have no one return my call.
I am requesting a full refund In the amount stated previously.
