I was looking for a contractor to renovate my basement and saw all the great reviews on Homestars. Having had them do the work for me, I know why they are so highly rated. Malcom, Mark, and Seara framed and drywalled my basement and had no problem doing some of the extra jobs that came up at a very fair price like putting in closet doors, mudding a stairwell ceiling, and rerouting some plumbing. Once they started my project they worked long days and weekends to finish and were not done until we had done a walk through and I was satisfied. They always were respectful and cleaned up everyday before leaving. They offered me some free design advice to help make the most of my renovation. I always felt I was in the hands of people who cared about what they do and wanted my project to look as good I wanted it too. I highly recommend Final Finish for any of your renovation needs.

I did a lot of research before choosing a team. I wanted to make sure I selected the right company for the job and I was not disappointed. If you read all the reviews you will see why.

I reached out to the team at Final Finish to have the main floor of my house painted (entrance, living room, front room, kitchen & stairwell) as well as to have my ceiling patched and trims repainted.

The quoting process was very simple and easy.
I initially met with Malcom for the quoting. Then Mark came by to do a quick in-person meet and greet as well as to confirm the estimate details, which was a nice touch.

I really enjoyed having this team come in to do the work, they were meticulous, hardworking, extremely respectful of the person(s) in my home, as well as the space itself. In a pandemic, they took all necessary pre-cautions to make sure that they were safe, as well as my household.

Mark was knowledgeable and was able to give me the perfect paint recommendations for my space. I couldn't be happier with the turnout and would definitely recommend that you choose this team if you are in need of this type of work.

We needed our ceiling patched from a plumbing issue that caused water damage. It was a pleasure dealing with Mark who came over to fix the hole in the ceiling. It was not an easy task because it was 14 feet high. Mark went above and beyond as he also pointed out what could have caused the water damage and offered to fix it at a very reasonable price. As our plumbers couldn't pin point the cause. The job took 2 days and the patch looks seamless. Mark was very courteous and also has great attention to detail. He was also careful to seal off the area before starting the job and cleaned up after. I would highly recommend him.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience working with Malcom and Mark. To say they went above and beyond for us is an understatement. My husband and I had recently bought a new house, we expected a few cosmetic updates were coming our way. Much to our dismay when we removed the wallpaper we realized the entire house top to bottom had terrible walls that could not be salvaged… this meant a major renovation without having saved up for it!

I spoke with many contractors and found that they all gave me insane quotes/timelines and only wanted to solve the problem their particular way without working with us…. I was completely defeated until I contacted Malcom, I explained our situation to him and pleaded that I needed someone to help us come up with a solution that was affordable for us and made our home livable. Malcom came to our house the same day for a meeting and worked with us to come up with a solution.

Malcom and Mark started working within the week and renovated the entire 2 floors of our house within a tight deadline of 2 weeks, which is when we needed to move in as we were expecting our first child! This team was an absolute pleasure to work with, they were extremely responsive, friendly, and did all the work within the promised deadline.

Malcolm gave us a very good price on the work knowing our situation was unexpected and helped us to make our house into a home! Even after the work was finished, they continued to stay in touch and return to do any touchups we needed done to ensure we were happy with everything.

Mark and Sarah did a great job painting our main floor area. They were very professional in their work. Mark went beyond his job scope to make sure that we were happy with his work. Once the painting was done, they cleaned up the place and offered to help in putting things back in place.

We framed our basement and needed to have it dry walled, mud and taped. The job required some imperfections corrected and Mark was a pleasure to deal with. Job was completed to our satisfaction.

I had a rush job and I called Malcolm and he said he would do his best to fit me in. A couple of days later Mark showed up. He removed popcorn ceiling and old wallpaper and then primed and painted. He did an amazing job - I could not be more pleased. What was equally impressive was his work ethic and the obvious pride and passion he put into the job. I have more work to be done, and I will definitely be calling them again. I cannot recommend them highly enough. So personal and professional!

I needed to repair my celing after an accident with with my shower which led to water spreading around the kitchen area. Malcolm came and surveyed the area. The following week Mark came and did an amazing job making it look good as new. He also added a nice layer of paint to cover the drywall so it looked smooth.
