Abu was very professional and helped me get permit approval, drawings were well done, Abu was reasonably priced as well.

I needed to get a building permit to underpin my basement and create a seperate apartment unit. Abu worked closely with me to determine my final floorplan and then drafted the drawings and applied for the building permit. Abu then worked directly with the city building department on my behalf to iron out the final details and obtained my permit. I then made some changes to my design - an extension of the basement area under the veranda- for which he drew up the designs again and submitted a revision which was pronmptly approved. The process was pretty flawless and I would highly recommend him.

Looking to get drawings done for a kitchen reno where a load bearing wall was going to be knocked down. Abu was able to complete and submit all required documentation in a timely manner. All submissions and coordination with the city were handled by Alpha Engineering.

I needed to prepare an application for a permit to remove a load-bearing wall ASAP. I contacted Abu and he came the next day to inspect my dwelling, measured my entire house, and walked me through the process of getting a permit. He then got the permit done within half a week, letting me know of options for the load-bearing wall and complied with a number of my requests on where placement of poles should be and length of the replacement beam.

Abu communicates through text, email, and phone, which is great since sometimes I can't find the time and just want to leave a message.

Abu's payment options are flexible as well, there was a good level of trust and he didn't pressure me into payment deadlines.

Abu did a drawing to do a basement apartment for me and he we very professional. He fee is reasonable and he is honest, reliable and dependable. He dealt with Ajax until the drawing was approved and i obtained a permit.

Abu, came to our house and was very pleasant to deal with. He took his time to explain exactly what was entailed in receiving a permit within our municipality. Abu was very well versed on the rules and the submission process, which inturn made for a smooth experience in receiving our permit.
I would definitely use Alpha again if structural​ drawings are needed in our future renovations.

Huge problem with the construction/renovation industry are contractors that over promise, don't return calls and consider only their own time. This was not the case with Abu of Alpha Engineering and I was very pleased with the outcome. Abu was very professional, timely, always returned calls and product as promised. He didn't go missing for 1-2 mths at a time and then have to revisit everything again...as has been the case with other engineers I've worked with that made me late/deficient on my projects. Others I've dealt with are either overpriced, misinformed or too self-important to consider other solutions, making working with them practically impossible. Abu understood the requirements right away and worked with me to get to a successful solution on the first try, no miscommunication or lost time. Fee schedules were transparent and most importantly fair, provided upfront with no later mystery tack ons. I will definitely be working with him again on my next project.

Very professional and works in a timely manner. Got my drawings back alot soon then expected. All edits were done ASAP. Would definitely use for future projects. Highly recommend this company.
