Michael and his team were asked to provide quotes for completing my roof as I was experiencing leaks in April of 2019.

They were not the cheapest quote, but Michael took the time to walk me through the installation process, the products he was going to use and above all, showed me options on what an excellent roof should include and what Mediocre roof consists of.

After understanding what he was offering, and comparing with the cheaper quotes; I immediately dismissed the cheaper quotes knowing that if I wanted the same roof, Michael would gladly deliver at the same cost, but his recommendations were worth the small difference in price for a better roof overall.

They showed up on time, as discussed, finished on time and I love my roof. Even up until last week I was proud of the roof and Proud that I had chosen KY roofing for this project.

What changed between last week and this week, well I’m in the middle of a Reno where we the insulation and drywall is removed. It strong draft of rain came and my roof began to leak, I was absolutely frustrated and angry. I pulled out my invoice, called Michael and said what shoddy installation did you guys do, my roofs leaking in just over a year? He said he’d be there in an hour to check it out. I called back after an hour, where are you and he said outside setting up his ladder.

He went up stairs, inspected the roof and send images. Seems like racoons or an animal tried to break into the roof but were unsuccessful. They ripped up the shingles around all the vents and near the eaves.

A little bit embarrassed I apologized and asked him
To make the necessary repairs. He made the repairs, and as he left, I asked how much, he said this visits on us, next time, I’ll charge a small amount and hopefully it won’t come to that

Now as I write this review of outstanding customer service and exceeding my expectations, I think to my interactions with Michael last year. A week or two after the roof was installed, a racoon at that time also tried to make a break, for my attic, but we heard the ruckus and had it looked at. Ky came and made sure everything was solid after a pest control company wired up the vulnerabilities on my roof. He siliconed all the screw and sealed the environment to make sure I was protected at no cost.

I called once again after I suspected the water from the eavestrough wasn’t flowing as designed and he took a look and fixed

My biggest fear is usually support after the fact of a large purchase. Michael has been around, has made 3-4 visits after the installation, all at no cost to me.

Roof is beautiful and well installed, racoons couldn’t get in atleast the three times we know of.
