The wood flooring, tiling, light installation, appliance installation, kitchen cabinets and painting are very well done, professional and affordable.

C&X Construction refinished our basement this spring. Sam and his crew worked efficiently and the end result is of great quality. The work was finished within timelines and on budget - no surprises. Sam and his team at C & X Construction did a great job finish our basement. It has been almost a month now, but we are enjoying our bright and beautiful basement after renovations with them. After underpinning our basement, Sam and his team came in to update the electrical panel and cables, construct framing and drywall on an irregular, over 100 year-old, rock and mortar wall, build a new stair on a tight space, and add a gorgeous custom built bathroom, storage rooms, a laundry room with easy to clean extra dryer filter niche, and a living room for recreation. There were some hiccups throughout the project, but Sam was able to work with us to navigate through any issues. We were those clients who inexperienced with such a comprehensive project but paid attention to every detail but Sam was always available to assist and resolve any roadblocks. Would highly recommend using Sam and C & X Construction for your bathroom and basement renovations!

Sam and his crew were so professional and exceptionally clean. C&X Construction are so reliable, work very hard and diligently to deliver quality work. We had emergency plumbing work done in our laundry room, had the tiles replaced, replaced the sink and had painting work done in a few rooms and the entire basement. This is the third time we’ve called on Sam and his crew and highly recommend them!

I have C&X construction to fix a leak in my basement, repair the damage and update the renovation. Work included fixing the plumbing leak, remove and replace damaged insulation, dry wall, part of the raised floor, replace all carpet with vinyl flooring, knock down some walls to open up the basement, repaint the entire basement and put some updates to the basement washroom as well. The team worked very hard and finished the project in two weeks. They work 10 hours day nonstop. They are very detailed and very clean. The first thing they do is lay down thick runner along the alley way where they need to walk through from the front door to the basement. They vacuum and clean the main floor traffic area everyday before they leave. They wrap all furnitures in the basement and help move them around during their work. I am very happy with their work and will definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to do reno work.

I had them fix a basement leak and at the same time refinish my basement. Sam came right after we agreed to the job to fix the leak to stop any further damage. The whole project started in February as promised. They worked 10 hours day continuous for two weeks to finish my project. The project includes, ripping out and replace damaged dry wall, insulation, bathroom door frame, and part of the raised subfloor, ripping out all old carpet, replacing with new modern vinyl flooring, replacing all baseboard and quarter round, put in new hardwood stairs to basement, repaint entire basement, upgrading some bathroom accessories in basement bathroom and repaint main floor dinning room. First thing they did when they come was to install floor protector all along the walkway to the basement to keep my main floor flooring clean and undamaged. They vacuum and mop the main floor everyday after they finish. They pay very good attention to all details, sanding and smoothing out any dents and dimples (even for hard to seen ones) before painting. Overall, a job very well done and I am very satisfied. Their price is also very reasonable.

Outstanding job!! C&X just finished our ensuite bathroom full renovation and the whole experience with Sam and his team was outstanding. It took me awhile to find someone and i hired C&X based on the good reviews here, so i took the chance and I am happy I did it. They are reliable, very professional and always providing good advice to help you making decisions on the project. Every day they left my place cleaned and the working area super organized.
