Kitchen and laundry room renovation
Owner / contractor had a hard time keeping track of project asks.
Some recommendations he suggested ended up being well beyond his capabilities and caused many problems and delays to complete.
Drywall finishing was done well below satisfactory. We couldn't paint without refinishing it. We held part of the payment back until he refinished it. It still wasn't done to a satisfactory level.
Plumbing leaked in kitchen and laundry, we needed to bring in a new plumber at later date and extra cost. Turns out Castle Built Renovations didn't glue up the connections.
Dishwasher was also installed incorrectly.
The whole project took about 12 weeks when he quotes 6 - 8 weeks.
The cost also almost doubled.
Some garbage was left behind requiring me to dispose of it at the town waste center.
He also just whines a lot.
