Touch Ups Plus has been providing furniture repairs, touch ups, refurbishing and refinishing, both on-site and in our shop (located in the Dufferin/Steeles area), to residential, corporate accounts, government and designers in Toronto/GTA since 1987 (35+ years).

Curio cabinet touch up

My brand new curio cabinet was accidentally damaged. I found Touch Ups Plus on internet and contacted Lynn. She responded promptly and gave me very reasonable quote. Mark came to our house and did the work on the door of my curio. It was a dent about 1 inch long with stain gone and the edge of the door was damaged as well. Mark did a marvelous job! You could not see any damage at all. The stain that Mark put on the door matched perfectly. My curio cabinet looked brand new again! Mark is a very nice and friendly person to deal with and a high professional in his trade. I take this opportunity to thank Mark and Lynn one more time. I definitely will use them in a future and recommend their company to everyone who will need work done on their furniture.

Coffee table refinished

We contacted this company to enquire about getting our coffee table refinished. Dealt with Lynn at first and then met Mike and Mark. They are all wonderful. They provided excellent customer service. They took the time to explain the work they had done. They were all very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. They did a wonderful on our coffee table. It looks brand new! Very happy with the results. Mark even gave us some good advice-don’t use Pledge on furniture. We would definitely recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again.

Met Lynn and through conversation, found out that her and her husband Mark were in the refinishing of furniture business. Mark came over and had a look at what we needed done. He was very friendly, almost felt like we already knew him and he was very confident and knowledgeable as he explained everything we needed to know. We were also very happy with the time management and very courteous and prompt replies from Lynn through email. The end result, was over and beyond our expectations. We highly recommended Touch up Plus, and have already referred them. Can't say enough, Great job!

Scratches gone!

I had some antique furniture that need some TLC, the men came over and made everything look pristine! They were quick, careful and knowledgeable. I would recommend for all antique touch ups!!

Wonderful service. Mark, Lynn and Mike Came to the house inspected the chair. Had the chair for two weeks and returned it today. Looks fabulous. Kept us posted all the way. Highly recommend these folks

WE ARE PERFECT MOVES. WE USE TOUCH UPS PLUS FOR ALL DAMAGE CLAIMS INVOLVING WOOD. THEY ARE NOT CHEAP, BUT HAVE NEVER DISAPPOINTED OUR CUSTOMERS.

Company Response: Hi Bill. Thanks for your review!! Yes, it's just like the old adage says .... "you get what you pay for" ... right? "Cheap" should raise a big red flag for customers getting pricing looking to have their furniture, kitchens or antiques done properly!! Top quality work takes time in the wood repair and refinishing process. It's very labour intensive and each stage of the process is done by hand, no machines. The days of the old strip tanks, to remove paint and finish, are long gone. Actually they were never really a good method to strip finish off furniture because the stripping solvent would also melt the glue and jeopardize all the glue joints on the piece of furniture. They are not environmentally friendly and most shops that used them have closed down. We've always been super happy to know you've never had a disappointed customer or issue with our work! We pride ourselves on offering top level quality and efficient, pleasant customer service!! Thank you very much for your business!
