The Electrical Connection

I initially called The Electrical Connection for an inspection/second opinion after we were burning through light bulbs at an abnormal rate. The inspection was prompt, thorough and professional. They found very old wiring and a recalled panel among a few other concerns. Ultimately we hired them again to do a full house rewire, replacing the electrical panel, light fixtures, and adding a range hood. The team were all professional, friendly, and answered all of our questions and concerns. They went above and beyond to make sure there was minimal damage in the house, cleaned up after the job, and even added a couple of the extra things in the original quote we had to cut because it was above our budget.

Electrical Connection completed a large and complex job for us on our old home. The house had been added to over the years and, as a result the original panel was undersized and in the wrong location and the wiring a mess. A further complication was that we wanted the downstairs rental unit on a separate panel. This necessitated a new 200 Amp service, a new master upstairs panel, a new sub-panel for the downstairs with a meter and a junction box to feed the original circuits to the appropriate panel. Electrical Connection did an excellent job. The two panels are works of art and every wire is neatly run and labelled. I am picky and really appreciate the effort they put in. Electrical Connection worked well with us, communicating in a timely fashion, asking questions where there were uncertainties, and the final product accommodates is very neat. We are planning to use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

They showed up on time prepared to do the work, which was done efficiently and in a timely manner. They had to cut out the drywall ceiling to get access to floor joists to enable them to drill holes to run the cable. They cleaned up after they were done and treated me with respect and respected my home. Altogether a professional job done by professionals at a fair and reasonable price.

We hired Joe to connect our hot tub. It was more complicated than we hoped. Joe was professional and great to work with. He did a beautiful job of a needed panel replacement and was transparent and helpful on advising us in the upgrade. Was great to see him working with and training his son. The electricians performed exceptionally well. They conducted a thorough evaluation of the task at hand, communicating openly about any issues, and addressing all our inquiries. Managing ceiling work can be messy, but they meticulously protected our furniture with poly wrap, utilized drop cloths, and diligently cleaned up as they progressed. Punctual and courteous throughout , they consistently arrived as promised, and maintained professionalism in all interactions. For any electrical needs, I highly recommend their fantastic services.

We had recurring issue with attic condensation. I'd tried a few fixes which seemed to work, but then the issue was recurring.

Joe was great. Came in, diagnosed all of the potential sources - some of which I'd missed - of the issue, explained the best, most cost-effective ways of dealing with that and was able to help us with really low-cost solutions to a couple other less pressing issues.

Work was quick, thorough, and he really cleaned up the situation in our attic beyond just the necessary fixes.
