He installed the drywall and then the tape to make the walls smooth. The taping is a process that requires at least three consequetive days of work to get the desired affect. First time he did popcorn ceiling. The other two smooth ceilings.
Heaters were required at least once as the plaster he put had not dried by the next day for him to be able to work. As such it took longer.
It is dusty work, so if only part of house, is being drywalled, some plastic barrier should be put up to limit dust going to rest of house.
He also did the drywall and tape in my mothers basement and tiled her washroom for her. She was very happy with his work too.
Price varied with each job because of diferences in size and complexity. Approx. 50cent a square foot.?
Last job; duplex - 2 floors - each - three bedrooms, built in closets, kitchen open concept living/dining room, bathroom.
