Paul was a good communicator, let us have full control, and was sensitive to our demands for the job. His versatility allowed him to take on two separate jobs on the property which helped us with management and scheduling. Project was completed on time without delay and within budget.

Being very budget conscious, we got a lot of quotes from a lot of different companies. Paul was first. Paul actually quoted us the most fair quote, and we ended up using him as a bell weather for other contractors. Few could match his quote for the scope of work, and none could match the organic short-hand we developed with each other.

Paul knew exactly what we wanted, to the point where he would suggest edits which we didn't even think of but fell madly in love with. He was able to do everything we needed and then some!

We ended up spending a bit more than the quote, and not because we found anything bad which needed fixing like you do on those reno shows. But because his work was such high quality, we wanted more.

When it's time for us to do some more work, Paul will be getting a phone call first.

Paul was a true professional and a pleasure to work with. Part of the project included removing a partial wall & electrical switch, taking out a tub and replacing it with a walk-in shower. His open communication was excellent. He explained everything in detail, always asked our opinion and would suggest what would work well. He would explain why we could or could not do certain things. He told us where we could get our products and always at the best price. The part we loved best was his excellent tile work!

They went out of their way to help us to get the look we wanted by providing a list of great suppliers.

The work was top notch, excellent finishing detail.

They were also very responsive to our calls and inquiries.

You expect your contractors to stay within budget and finish work by the deadline. With Alsi Construction you get on top of that a can-do attitude even after you’ve signed the contract. Throughout our entire process of renovating two bathrooms we were extremely happy to see that Paul and his guys had a very positive attitude always willing to accommodate our requests and giving us advice and support to put our ideas in practice. Very happy with the end result and so happy with how the entire process unfolded.

Paul is excellent at explaining the renovation process and the products he uses. He completed our renovation on budget and told us about our options at every stage. He never tried to upsell us on anything, or push us towards a particular decision. He kept our floors protected and kept dust to a minimum . In addition, he was extremely neat with his work tools. One year on, we are still delighted with the work. I highly recommend this contractor.

Paul removed a wall between two rooms, installed a supporting beam and refinished the walls and the hardwood floor. Paul was always polite and great to work with. Really warm and friendly person and passionate about his work. He is very knowledgable about all aspects of building and also knows other professionals when he needs them. In this case, we needed an engineers report, which he arranged. Paul is also very reasonably priced, but that's because he is efficient and actually does most of the work himself.
